General Details

This Saga 35, designed by Robert Perry who is known for his performance cruisers, is a well maintained one owner boat. The Saga 35 was built for speed but is a cruiser through and through with all the amenities you would expect and want for long distance and coastal cruising. The Saga 35 boasts a unique rig with two headsails on roller furling. The aft headsail is for going to weather and is self-tending making tacking upwind a breeze. The large genoa is for off wind and reaching. All lines lead aft to the cockpit. There is also a new asymetrical spinnaker that flies from the bow sprit with no need for a spinnaker pole. Salubrious has received timely updates including electronics, Garmin chartplotter and Radar as well as new autopilot. The large aft cockpit has 6'6" seating with plenty of storage. To port of the helm is the propane locker. The lazarette to port forward is nearly 51/2 feet deep. To starboard is an additional seat locker. The cockpit also features a walkout transom for easy access to the boarding level and swim ladder. Down the companionway steps forward the interior is finished in satin varnished cherry wood and soft fabrics giving the interior a luxurious feel. The cabin sole is varnished teak and holly. To port aft is the U-shaped galley. To starboard aft is the large quarter berth and just forward you will find the navigation station. Forward of the nav station is a hanging locker and chest of drawers and shelf.  The open salon design boasts 6'5" headroom and has two long settees port and starboard with a folding table at the center. Continuing forward the head is to starboard and entry to the forward cabin is to port. The forward cabin has a large double berth.
The large U-shaped galley is located to port aft with ample counter work space and well placed storage cabinets, drawers and shelves. The entry door is forward to port.
