Vessel Walkthrough

Tortuga IV's salon is spacious, and air conditioned with plenty of seating to port and starboard. The fishermen may purchase snacks, soft drinks and beer while underway at her snack bar. The salon exits to a wrap around deck which will accommodate the individual who wants a "no hassle" fishing experience. There are 48 separately marked fishing spots with their own rod holders. There are also two large comfortable heads aft on the wrap around deck; one is located to port, the other is to starboard. While underway passengers can relax inside the salon, go aft to the sun deck; go forward to see what adventure awaits, or climb the stairs to the upper deck for a panoramic view and to visit the Captain in the pilot house. What you catch is cleaned by the crew; and local restaurants will gladly prepare your catch for lunch or dinner. Tortuga IV usually runs two excursions per day.

Tortuga IV is a U.S. Coast Guard Inspected vessel permitted to operate in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Vessel must be manned by a Master, and two deck hands. Total persons authorized on-board to include crew is 54; with minor modifications (foam filled pontoons) this vessel can be Coast Guard inspected to accommodate 128 passengers including crew.

Fishing Licenses

The following licenses are owned by Tortuga IV. They will be transferred to the buyer who purchases Tortuga IV as an on-going business. If the buyer purchases the vessel alone, these licenses will be sold separately or transferred to the owner's new venture.

Both engines and both transmissions are NEW in November, 2008 by Yanmar; and have transferable full warranties. Each engine has approximately 500 hours.

Generator: Norpo 20 KW with approximately 5500 hours.
