General Details

A note from the owner:

I have been sailing since I was 14, and even spent a couple of summers working on the Great Lakes as a deckhand on the iron ore carriers while in college.

And I own a yacht detailing business for 6 years now. So it is that my background is very orientated toward the sea and marine adventures in particular.

7 years ago I purchased her, my 2nd sailboat. (my first was a Sunfish, for sailing on the Ohio river, where my home was located.) Initially, I loved my boat as it gave me heretofore unparalleled headroom
(6+ ft) and space for visitors, entertaining, and best of all, a most comfortable smooth ride ,even in the bumpy seas of the Gulf of Mexico.

This wonderful boat does not know what water over the rail means. A 15 to 20 knot wind is just another breeze.

I love to cook, so I threw away the old alcohol single burner in the galley and installed a two burner propane that boils water in minutes. I learned that a small block of dry ice along with a bag of ice, will keep my goodies in the cold box, at the right temp for a couple of days, not hours.

Every sailor who has been aboard has remarked about the quality and performance of the Yanmar engine. She had 85 hours when I purchased her and now has 250.......runs like a dream.

The Yanmar dealer gave me a secret one day, a few years ago, and it was that my engine prefers to run hot, or at about 3200 to 3500 RPM.

And incidentally, diesel fuel consumption at that speed is 1(one) quart per hour!!

And there are plenty more goodies too numerous to mention here. In a few words, She is a turn-key boat!!

It's time to bid good-bye to this cozy craft, as age and a few recent surgeries have indicated that my time has come.
I know you will love this vessel as much as I.
