General Details

You can own this vessel for as little as $670 per month. Visit the POP Yachts website for more information.

The most notable difference between the Catalina 320 and previous Catalina designs is the way in which the beam at the transom, compared to the maximum beam, is considerably increased. The beam at the transom of the Catalina 320 is 87% of the maximum beam while that of their earlier models was closer to 60%. This is certainly not a Catalina innovation but an industry trend that can result in as much as 10% more interior volume for a given length and translates to added space for accommodations. In addition, cockpit space is considerably increased.

Standard features on the 320 include a 135% roller furling genoa, new main 2012, self tailing winches, a rigid adjustable boom vang, mid-boom sheeting with traveler, 27 horsepower Universal diesel motor, water heater, 36" stainless steel destroyer wheel, bilge blower, emergency tiller, walk-through stern with removeable helmseat, stern boarding ladder, stern rails with two observation seats, double lifelines with pelican hooks, double anchor locker and rollers, electric windlass with up and down controls, cabin window shades, two hanging lockers, chart table with storage compartment, four opening ports, four ventilation hatches, two burner stove with oven, large icebox with seperate freezer, icebox discharge pump, hot and cold pressure water system including stern shower, macerating electric head with holding tank and discharge valve, enclosed shower, battery charger, A/C power with 6 cabin electric outlets.

There are comfortable in-port accommodations for two couples or a small family. The layout includes a V-berth cabin forward followed by the main saloon with a settee to port and convertible U-shaped dinette to starboard. The galley is aft to port and has a stove, oven, top loading icebox, double sink, and suitable counter space. There is a small navigation table just forward of the galley which, in a pinch, could be used as extra counter space for meal preparation. The head and the entrance to the quarter berth cabin are opposite the galley. The head includes toilet, sink and integral shower, and the quarter berth cabin has a large, double berth and hanging locker. There is adequate storage below the berths and cushions

With 6'4" headroom and 11' 9" beam, the interior is especially spacious. With in-mast furling and an electric winch, it is easy to sail. Draft of 4'4" it is perfect for Narragansett Bay, BI or Martha's Vineyard and the islands, as well as Bluewater cruising.

Items in addition to standard:

Wing keel, Furling Mast, Stereo receiver and CD player, Dodger/Bimini Combo with Connector Panel, Canvas Package, Leather Wrapped Wheel, Cockpit Table, Dinette with Double Berth Conversion, Electric Mainsheet/Halyard Winch, Three Blade prop, Raymarine ST60 speed and distance log, direction indicator, depth & wind instruments, Standard intrepid VHF with remote mic at helm, Raymarine RL 70RC Chartplotter with radar, Raymarine ST 4000+ Autopilot.

Overall condition of this sloop is fantastic, very well-maintained from sea to shrink-wrap to storage. Any 'weekend cruiser' will be more than satisfied and the 'weekend racer' may be quite surprised. Function and features are top-notch. Owner is ready to launch at his expense after waxing boat and adding zinc's this week.
