Up Date on Waterdance repairs:

- The boat will be hulled the week of June 16th
- All blisters on the hull will be repaired
- The hull will be painted with two coats of Anti-Fouling paint
- The running gear repacked
- All thru hull fittings will be inspected and replaced as needed
- The delaminated roof on the forward cabin will be repaired
- The lower deck will be repainted
- The canvas enclosure will be re-stitched and all the zippers replaced
- New USCG approved Smoke/CO detectors will be installed
- New battery boxes will be installed
- A new Norcold 3 way refrigerator has been ordered and will be installed
- New USGA approved LP gas lines will be installed
- The LP gas tanks will be fitted with new USCG approved valves


This is a gorgeous representation of a classic early 80's Defever. Owners have been meticulous in it's care.

Seller's Notes:

Forward stateroom has large vee berth with filler, full sized closet, and head with shower (no stall) to port. There is a marble vanity counter top, and new Par manual toilet installed. Over the V berths are shelves with fiddles, 2 opening ports, and overhead hatch.

Walk up three steps to Main salon, which features a fully instrumented lower helm station, 2 companionway doors (1 port -1 starboard), upholstered blue velvet "L" shaped convertible dinette to port, "U" shaped galley to starboard with a wet bar aft to port. Both the galley and wet bar have Formica counter tops, sinks and faucets that look quite attractive. The teak and holly sole in the salon was refinished recently. The salon also has a sapphire blue forward windshield cover for translucent light penetration and privacy.

The master stateroom has a full sized island berth to port with cabinets and Formica counter space outboard. There is a walk in cedar lined closet. A "study desk" and aft deck companionway with custom doors, screen and lexan inserts. The aft head includes, marble vanity counter top, Formica, new fixtures, and a tiled tub/ shower stall.

Teak joinery and cabinet's highlight the yacht throughout.

GALLEY:

Magic Chef 4 burner propane stove, oven; water heater; pressure, dockside water system.

The "U" shaped galley included a good deal of cabinetry both above and below the new counter tops. There are dish, glass and spice rack. The "U" shape make it possible to reach virtually anywhere in the galley from one location. This along with the microwave simplifies food preparation. There are new aluminum propane tanks (2) along with an electric solenoid. There is a Force 10 BBQ grill mounted outside.

Thousands of hours were spent by knowledgeable couple preparing her for an extensive trip which now is not possible. The owners of this vessel have kept her exceptionally clean.
