Custom built airboat with a reliable Lycoming airplane engine that runs on pump gas. Imagine yourself flying along in this beautiful boat at over 60MPH! This 13' Airboat was custom built to a buyer's specs by the manufacturer.

It's a one of a kind Airboat that can traverse water and land. Better suited to water and shallow marshy areas, this boat can cross land areas also. Go where you want!

Perfect for shallow water use in rivers lakes or swamps.

This one has a custom reinforced fiberglass hull with a stern bottom plate that can be replaced when needed. The hull was designed and built for the application to be used as an Airboat.

The boat seats 3 passengers, high up. The driver sits in the front and has a foot gas pedal for speed. The steering handle on on the left and this moves the blades behind the fan for turning. At idle, the boat moves at about 10MPH. When the fan is turning, there is only forward direction. There are 2 trolling motors mounted on the rear for maneuvering around the dock or through no wake zones. The trolling motors will work in forward or reverse, and will propel the boat at up to 10MPH. Basically, the trolling motors are used when ramping or around the dock. Then when you are ready to go, you start the Lycoming aircraft engine. This engine runs on regular gas. The owner does add some octane booster in the tank also.

The boat has an onboard battery charger that you can plug in for storage so the batteries are always charged. The boat has 4 lights that point in all directions. There is a stereo and 2 speakers. The gas tank is 35 gallons so you can run for hours. The front grate on the boat adds another 4 feet to the boat. The actual fiberglass section is 13' long.

This toy only has 65 hours of use. The owner has done many upgrades. This looks like a very fun machine!

The engine runs off a switchable dual magneto systems and will continue to run on one if needed. The builder designed this boat well and sturdy with extra thick reinforced fiberglass and a brush guard. the construction was finished with a cool flashy custom paint job Seller added all new gauges and wiring with breaker panels mounted on diamond plate. The steering is provided by a Twin Rudders behind the propeller and high speeds. For low speed navigation the Seller upgraded the Airboat with a set of duo trolling props mounted on electronically controlled actuators that raise an lower props into the water. Once the system is activated you can push either side of the stern forward or reverse.. Seller says in calm water you can make 10 mph and works great in a marina and no wake zones.
