General Details

12.18.2014 New bottom, new carpet, and is shiny and spotless. Engine
hours have not changed. She's been hauled for the past 12 months.

11.10.2014 Hauled out & bottom Pressure washed!!!!!

Currently, Seller is has had the boat detailed inside & out. Seller is has had the gelcoat professionally repaired where needed. The Bottom has been freshly painted & has replaced all the zincs.

It is currently back in the water.

Seller is having his Capt. check every system to make sure everything is working properly since it has been hauled our for the six months.

He just added all new batteries 11.2014

The seller has not been able to use it & it was more economical to have it up on the hard, However the boat is firing on all cylinders with some of the most powerful engines you can fit in this engine room!

This is a fast boat & will get you where you need to go quick, fast, & in a hurry! Max speed is 40 Mph. It may go faster! Seller is modest on the throttles & never pushes it.

Please contact us for more information.

The Vessel is Powered by;

A Pair of Turbo Charged, After Cooled, 8.3 Liter, Fuel injected, Straight, Six Cylinder, 480 Horsepower, Cummins, Diesel Engines. (6CTA 8.3 M)

480 Horsepower at 2600 RPMs

For more than 6 decades, Luhrs boats have built a strong reputation of being True, Blue Water, Tournament Winning Boats & Yachts!

This is the Vessels' Original owner & She has always been regularly maintained.

Seller is not using her anymore & has decided to sell. She is itching to fish!!!!

This has everything you need to travel & competitively fish.

You can comfortably high speed troll for Marlin, Tuna & Wahoo, Slow it down & Deep drop for Tile fish, Snapper & Grouper, Or bump troll & kite fish for Dolphin, Cobia or Sails.

This is a proven fishing machine. It was specifically designed for this purpose. If you need to take a shift break, there is plenty of room inside to crash & enough galley space to create a feast for your loyal crew!

It works and runs like a million dollars, but it won't cost you a million either.

Beyond that, this is one of the fastest & most fuel efficient yachts in it's class.

She was completely geared & designed to be one of the Most Complete, Capable, Reliable, Comfortable, & Solid Fishing Machines Ever Available.

I think they did a Great Job!

I can vouch for these vessels personally. I spent many hours on long, successful, fishing trips with this model especially. I have fished on this model extensively. I can honestly say I have caught all of the species that I listed above & then some on this model.

You can travel far & wide with this boat. Plus it makes a very good overnight vessel.

She has some serious Carolina Flare to help keep you dry & handles just about as much as an angry sea can throw at you. But who wants to be out in that anyway.. Unless the sailfish are biting! Of Course. I will go if you will!!!!

Plus, it would just be nice to have this yacht at the end of the dock. It has all the amenities you would potentially need for a sleep over. It is like having your very own club house or Condo!

Fyi, The Name of the Vessel was created by Taking the First letter of all of the Sellers Grandchildren & putting them together to Spell BAJJER.

Maybe this is the right boat for you

Specifications

Condition
This vessel is clean and very well cared for with full service records & systems operational manuals. Minimal issues if any. Seller generally fixes anything that pops up. I found one smaller, than silver dollar sized hole in the port side just above water line under the bow. It looks as though the hull made contact with something floating in the water while the vessel was under way. There isn one more dime size gel coat hole from seemingly the same object as it bounced aft. Seller has had it professionally repaired already. When the vessel was in the water, there was no sign of water in the bilge ever. It may have just happened on the way to the last haul out. Seller has painted the bottom 11.2014, replaced the zincs & completely detailed & waxed the boat from top to bottom. All personal gear such as fishing poles, tackle, binoculars, charts, books, foul weather gear, etc that are pictured are not included. Most of the express boats I have ever been on, the isinglass leaked water through the Zipper into the bridge area in bad rainstorms or in big seas we would be crashing through. It would drip, drip, drip. If you were sleeping or napping for the long trip back from where ever, it would be uncomfortable. The Seller remedied that by caulking the entire zipper inside & out of the Helm area Isinglass. Luhrs sport fishing boats was acquired from Marlow acquisition group by the Florida-based investing firm MB Marine Industries LLC. MB Marine Industries LLC is company directed by a dedicated group of naval engineers, marine architects and entrepreneurs who are passionate about boats and committed to manufacturing them with the highest quality, craftsmanship and seaworthiness. They promise to continue the 60-year legacy of their founder, Henry Luhrs, by honoring his vision, his dream and the passion that made Luhrs one of the oldest manufacturing boat companies in the world, with some of the most loyal customers in the industry. I think the Luhrs Co. had some issues with the 41' Luhrs during the height of the 2006 recession. The New Luhrs 41 with the pocket drives had quite a bit of warranty work to do with the New Model. Luhrs owners all had their warranty work done by the dealer, However some folks couldn't come to agreement & the business was sold. The 41 was known to slide out slightly, under certain conditions. I think because of the pocket drives. I have ridden & fished the the 41' extensively & did not have the issue ever. I even fished & help win a Marlin Tournement at Cat Island a few years back on that model. You can read up on the issue one person had on the HullTruth.Com I have crossed the Gulf stream in The 32',36', & the 41' in some of the foulest weather conditions & made it home safely from 13 + hour trips one way. This hull is not as giant as the 41' & fortunately has never had any such incidence occur with this model. It has always been a rock solid design. She is an expert fishing vessel, fully capable of making your fishing trips regular lifetime events each time!!! This Vessel is pretty much plug & play, I can find out where the service is at, Just let me know. Depending on what you want to do with her she is ready to run & fish. Are you ready!!?
