18K BELOW FMV!

Since 1960 and the introduction of the Bertram 31 Moppie, Richard Bertram and Co have been building some of the toughest, most dependable and most respected boats in the industry. This 1970 Bertram 38 Sportfisherman is no exception.

Sporting the beautiful and driving deep fee hull, she features clean lines and attractive styling. You will not believe how gorgeous this 1970 hull shows. Take a look at the photos and video!

Inside the boat, you will find a nice size v-berth stateroom forward. A bit aft and to SB is a 2 bunk station stateroom, capable of sleeping 2 adult males with no problems. Across to port is a nice size head with a vacuflush marine toilet, sink and shower. Moving aft and coming above, there is a nice size salon with a microwave and fridge appointed galley.

The cockpit is a serious fisherman's best friend on this boat, with plenty of room for a large group to fish without stepping on toes. She has in-deck rod holders and the woodwork is gorgeous! Spreader lights and the 30' outriggers complete the package.

The flying bridge is the control center here and the helm is equipped with the Garmin 3210 GPSMap and Furuno radar. To SB from the helm is a bench seat for your bridge passengers. Above the bridge is of course the tower. The tower helm will need new electronics to bring up to par.

All stainless steel on this vessel is 316!

Power is supplied from the 1992 Cummins 6CTA 8.3L Diesels, which provide 430+HP each. She had a major done in 2002 by Marine Systems in FL. Since, there are only 423 hours P and 419 hours SB. At that time, the ZF gears were replaced as well as the SS exhaust elbows. The props are NIBRAL.

You can tell that the owner has maintained this vessel lovingly and she just looks great for a 1970 boat. The owner will be sad to see her go, but he just can't handle two boats right now.
