General Details

Hacker Craft has been hand crafting fine Mahogany boats since 1908, founded by John L. Hacker in Detroit, Michigan. The company moved its operations to New York State in the 1970's, where to this day they are still hand crafting boats on the shores of Lake George. They are truly unique with its classic lines and unparalleled craftsmanship making Hacker Craft an icon in the American boat building world.

This 1993 Hacker Craft 22 is no exception. This boat was completely redone in 2005, with the bottom of the boat completely redone to updated standards. This consists of an epoxy and wood mixture instead of the wood bottom, all done at the Hacker Craft facility in New York. This work cost over $20,000 and has a 10 year warranty, all documented. As you step into the rear seat on the floor is a large hatch that gives you full access to the bilge pump and float switch. Turn to the rear of the boat and you will see large double mahogany engine hatches trimmed in chrome. Inside is a very clean Blue Crusader XL engine connected with a matching Velvet Drive direct drive transmission with only 343.5 freshwater hours. Engine compartment is also equipped with an automatic Fireboy system. In the rear of the engine compartment is the large aluminum fuel tank with above deck fill with chrome cover. In the front cockpit area is the full mahogany dash. The dash consist of the custom Hacker Craft gauge cluster with Engine RPM, fuel, voltage, oil pressure, and water pressure. To the port side is the large steering wheel with a chrome steering column. To the left of the steering is your four pull switches lights, bilge, blower, and acc. To the left of that is the air craft style pull throttle with adjustable friction knob. On the floor is the large chrome shift lever to match the steering column. Above the dash is the three piece windshield with a chrome trim. On the bow of the boat you will find a large chrome IVA light spot light with dash knob control. The large chrome Nav. Light really matches the classic look. The boat has two chrome flag pole holders one in the bow and one in the very aft. Boat comes with Hacker Craft flag for the front and a large American Flag for the aft. This is a chance to own a real American classic. Seller will listen to all OFFERS!!!!
