The Carver 370's are beamy boats to give plenty of room inside with a deep V hull to provide a more comfortable ride for your open water trips to the Bahamas or the Caribbean islands. This Aft Cabin model provides the future owner with a quiet state room at the stern and guest quarters up forward, each having a private head with shower. The present owners enjoyed using her at a slower pace, like one would use most trawlers, but appreciated the added safety of having a planing hull to get them in shore fast if the weather unexpectedly turned bad. Her fully enclosed bridge places the helm close to the center of the boat, giving a great vantage from which to pilot this wonderful cruiser. The fully enclosed cockpit provides plenty of room to entertain guests on deck with a graceful spiral staircase to a swim platform large enough to carry a dinghy. Joyfull is uncommonly powered with twin Caterpillar diesels for added dependability and lower fuel consumption. Plan on buying this comfortable Carver to take on extended cruises or use as a live-a-board.
- Entering the cabin through the double glass doors and a sliding hatch, you step down a few steps into a spacious settee with a large wrap around comfy couch to port. There are storage cabinets all along the starboard side. The carpet on Joyfull has been replaced recently and there are hatches to the engine compartment that give ample access to her power plants. Moving forward you step down a few more steps to the salon and galley. The salon to port has plenty of space to eat comfortably for five people. There are drawers under one of the seats and shelf space in the corners of the wrap-around plush seating. The galley opposite to starboard has lots of counter and cubbard space, with a NEW Ceran 2 burner Princess cooktop and a NEW 1000 watt Emerson microwave to help keep cooking more enjoyable. The galley also has a convection oven, over/under freezer/refrgerator and in-cabinet coffee maker. Adjacent to the salon is the head, it has 2 doors to provide access from either the main area or a private entrance from the guest cabin. Inside there is a vanity, vacu-flush head and shower. Moving a little further forward you come to the guest cabin. It has a twin bed with a seat to the left. There are large drawers below the bed and a hanging closet is to the right. At either end of the bed are reading lamps and shelves. Going back to the settee area, there are stairs to starboard taking you down to the master cabin. Stepping inside, the bed welcomes you with walk around space. There is a dresser to the left and the headboard has storage inside with a large shelf on top. There is a large double door hanging closet to the right and as you move further in you see the entertainment center at the foot of the bed. The door to the head is to starboard, it has a separate full size shower, large vanity and a vacu-flush toilet. The master cabin feels very spacious, helped out with a number of mirrors placed here and there. Moving up on deck, the large cockpit is fully enclosed, There is a wet bar and also easy access to the swim platform, by way of a circular staircase, which is large enough to store a dingy. There are stairs to the flybridge on either the port or starboard side. The helm is placed a little more centrally in the boat and all her controls and electronics are within easy reach to view her NEW Garmin's Chartplotter, rudder indicator, and Fishfinder . Use these to incorporate more systems of your own choice. She comes with 2 comfortable armrest chairs that raise the skipper and first mate higher off the bench seat they sit on. Moving forward of the helm you step down to an area where there is a large bench seat overlooking the bow. There is large storage space in front of this seat and behind the captains bench area. Going to the bow, there are grab rails up high along the cabin, giving extra comfort while getting up there. The bow is wide and uncluttered, with a hatch accessing the forward cabin. The anchor is stowed on the bow pulpit enclosed sprit, with a windlass just aft of this area.
- The Caterpillar engines for this Carver 370 have very good access through hatches in the main cabin floor, lifting up the middle one gives ample space to both engines, the gen-set and battery charger. Upon looking in you will notice everything is very clean, the engines have been touched up with paint where needed, as part of their regular TLC, the bilges are very clean, and there is a large clean platform from which to lay tools and work easily from. Only one part of the L-shaped couch needs to be moved to have access to all of the port side engine. This portion of the couch had been a sleeper, but the current owner chose to remove the innards to make the moving of it more easily.

- Joyfull has had an easy life since her recent owners bought her. They were never in a rush to go anywhere, so on their trips they would run her at only around 1500rpm/11knts. Her engines look great, the bilges are very clean and the interior is in good condition. Since her recent updates in 2009, priorities have changed and she has been used very little. This is a very clean boat with little to do but buy her, go cruising or live aboard, and enjoy her very large interior space for a 37 footer.
