General Details

BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN CLASSIC CHRIS CRAFT! Try to find another one of these beauties. Refurbished in the mid 70's, including the bow structure and decking. Care was taken to keep everything as original as possible. Powered by 2 rock crusher Chris Craft 300 V8's installed in 1975. These are real marine engines, built like diesels, not automotive conversions. These babies were built to last and have a closed fresh water cooling system. The engines are matched port and starboard to counter rotate from each other matched with a pair of Paragon hydraulic drives. This 47 footer will idel at 5 knots and open up to 23.5 knots at 4000 rpm. The pair burns 14 gph @ 11.4 knots, only 5 gph at 8.3 knots and with 300 gal. of fuel you get just about anywhere you want to go. 6.5 Kw Kohler on demand generator means you can take all your toys with you. This is one of the most original classic Chris Crafts I have ever seen. There is a custom fireplace with custom 7" marine stainless flue in the Salon along with a double sofa bed that has never been used. The aft cabin or master has a double and a single bed along with a full head and shower. The forward stateroom has two single bunks and another head. Dinette converts to a double berth so she sleeps 9. Galley has a four person dinette with a custom built table, a 3 burner propane stove, an electric oven with broiler and griddle, and a Hugh original frig. With freezer. The enclosed cockpit also has a large freezer. The Bridge is mostly original and the electronics are vintage but they all work. 8" Richie compass with a 2 degree card. A Bendix autopilot and Rdial flasher/digital depth sounder/fish finder. The boat has tons of storage, 2 boxes on the Bridge and 3 on the aft deck along with the lazerett.
THIS BOAT WOULD MAKE A SPECTACULAR LIVE ABOARD!

Another popular Whaler advertising campaign for the last four decades now. - I doubt anyone would call in the local volunteer fire company to see how much water their boat can hold, but Boston Whaler's version of unsinkable is certainly reassuring offshore and equally comforting when the boat is unattended at the dock. - The vast majority of small boat sinking's occur in the slip when bilge pumps fail or batteries wear down, something that just cannot happen on a Boston Whaler! - Lazarette /garage - Stored Inside - Thru-hull Fittings
