General Details

The 55’ Fleming is one the most popular vessels in the Fleming fleet. The vessels traditional lines and the extremely comfortable layouts makes it as close to perfect as far as function, safety, and sea keeping abilities. The interior fit and finish is beautiful and classic. The salon is laid out for entertaining and dining just aft of a very spacious galley. The master is forward with an ensuite head and shower stall.  The guest/day head is off the companionway between the 3 cabins. There is a mid-ship VIP guest cabin with a small queen size berth to port. The second guest cabin on the starboard side of the vessel is great for crew or kids. There is a full size washer and dryer in the companionway which is hidden behind a door that matches the wall so well you may just walk by it.

The upper helm and the pilothouse helm are very well laid out and have ample redundancies with easy access to service if necessary.

The aft lazarette has plenty of storage and access to the running gear and air conditioning compressors. Forward of this area are the battery switches and water maker then, access to the engine room where the generators, additional pumps, stabilizers, fuel tanks, main engines, and a fuel manifold all live and are very accessible for service and observation.

The vessel is most efficient at around 9.9 knots turning 1475 RPM’s. At this speed she burns right at 1 mile to the gallon, which will get you approximately 1000 mile range.

This all being said and coming from someone who has been running and looking after the maintenance this particular vessel for the past 3 plus years. I can say this is a great vessel for families or couples who love cruising anywhere for the upper and lower Bahamas to New England. Also anyone that Know FLEMING Yachts, Love them. No matter where I have taken this boat people always ask about her.

The Owners have loved and cruised the boat all around the Exuma’s and would still maybe doing it again this summer.

Make Faith the next Fleming you board and possibly own!!!!
