General Details

Construction:

Cold-molded with AwlGrip.  Planking is 1/2" Honduras Mahogany as are the frames.  Douglas fir structural Keel.  West and bronze fastenings.  The deck is glassed over plywood as are the trunk cabins and cabin roof.  The self-bailing cockpit measures 20x8.  SAMOSET 30s hull is white, boottop is flag blue, the bottom is red and the deck is white with grey non-skid.

Engine:

Single Yanmar 440hp, 2008, 6 cylinder, diesel.  Close circuit cooling, 2:1 reduction gear.  Palm Beach style engine controls, Yanmar fuel gauges and Yanmar engine hour meter showing approximately 75 hours.  Propeller is 24x33 with 4 blades and a 2" shaft diameter.  Maximum cruising speed 43 knots.  SAMOSET 30's range is 500 miles at 20 knots and she uses 4.1 gallons per hours at 20 knots.

Tanks:

108 gallon aluminum fuel tank, 24 gallon plastic water tank and 5 gallon holding tank.

Electrical:

Lighting and starting both 12V, 2 12V batteries, 12V Blue Seas curcuit breaker electrical panel.

Accommodations:

One head with 12V water pressure system.  Joinerwork, trim finish is AwlGrip and varnish and cabin sole is AwlGrip with non-skid.

Equipment:

Four electric bilge pumps, flares, 6 Type IV life preservers, remote controlled searchlight, six docking lines, dodger, fitted cockpit cushions.  Also, two rod holders and a custom teak swim platform.

This is a one of a kind custom built gentleman's day boat.  It has classic good looks but performs like a modern boat.  The construction is beautiful from the brightwork to the bilge.  The hull design allows for dry comfortable operations in many conditions.  This boat is a great family boat and can be enjoyed by several generations.
