General Details

Tenagra has received excellent care since her launching, most recently with an extensive refit to her mast, sails, running rigging and electronics in 2007. She has been substantially upgraded and improved over the years and has carried her owners and crew safely and comfortably during many miles of sailing, both offshore and cruising coastal waters. She competed in the 2001 Marion to Bermuda Race and has cruised the Caribbean.

The boat is powerful, fast, well built and has completed numerous back to back 200-mile days at sea. She is one of Ted Hood's best designs, a well-balanced cruising yacht with a comfortable motion at sea.

This boat has a two-cabin layout with the spacious owner's cabin forward and an (almost) equally comfortable guest cabin aft. The interior space must be seen to be appreciated with plenty of room for a very nice owner's head and shower, storage for cruising, room in the bilges, a well-designed companionway and excellent access to all of the ship's systems, machinery, tankage, etc.
