VESSEL WALK-THROUGH
The new Sanlorenzo SL104 planing superyacht boasts many next-generation features. Built for the US market, she is full of innovations over her predecessor, such as an extended swim platform with a disappearing shower and a drop-down portside salon terrace.  Her exterior styling stays true to the Sanlorenzo tradition of clean flowing lines, but forward on the main deck is an interesting feature that can temporarily change the lines in the name of great views. GRP panels on the side of the superstructure can retract to maximize the views from the on-deck master stateroom windows. The superstructure is wider on this model, providing more volume, which designer Marty Lowe used to create a bright, contemporary interior filled with subtle color and texture. Using whitewashed oak and walnut, top-stitched leather cabinetry, as well as cool accents such as sandblasted stone in the guest showers, Lowe created a relaxing décor that is in her words, “a celebration with the sea.” The panoramic master suite is located forward on the main deck. Following a floating staircase below deck are four staterooms, two VIP staterooms and two twin staterooms. In both twins, the berths can convert to create one queen berth in each. Each room boasts a pair of huge opening portholes. The transom garage accommodates a tender and a Jet Ski, allowing the flybridge to be solely a guest area. There are well-defined spaces for relaxation, dining and navigation. Furnishings include a custom Boffi-designed bar/buffet, a traditional dining table and chairs, and oversized lounges.  An extra for the US market is the huge free-standing grill. The propulsion package includes twin 2,434-hp MTU 16V 2000s, which push the planing yacht to a top speed of 29 knots. Zero-speed stabilizers and excellent noise-and-vibration attenuation make her extra comfortable. The full navigation and electronics package even includes underwater lights and nighttime vision cameras.
