Specifications

Condition
Vessel is in excellent condition for her age according to owner. OWNER NOTES: The boat has approximately 250 hours on the hull and 20 hours on the motors after refresh (port rebuilt, starboard top end completed). The boat has twin 500hp Mercury Racing Motors with 2.3L Whipple superchargers on them. These motors have 650hp and 750ft lb of torque. The boat has upgrade Bravo drives, hydraulic steering, mechanical oil pressure gauges to the helm of the boat (did this because price of motors and I don't trust electric oil pressure gauges). The boat runs 70 mph on GPS (Digital GPS Gauge) @ 3500 RPM and runs 90 on GPS @ 5400 RPM. The interior is in good shape with normal wear on the interior. The Sun Pad was replaced and the bolsters are power/ both. A GPS was added to the Port dash and also the stock cooler in the dash/port helm. The color of the boat is White with Purple/Teal/Black stripping and the interior is white with Black drop in carpet both cabin and cockpit along with Purple and Teal accents. The Sonics also had rail pads on the cockpit which have been redone and are mixture of Black/Teal/Purple. The Sonic also has bow rails which were an added feature when it was built. It was built from the factory with the 500hp's as well. Whipples were added later. The cabin has the famous pull out center section that the 31ss were known for with sofas on both sides and V-berth. Has a enclosed vacuum flush head sink and shower, refrigerator, sink, microwave, TV/VCR, pressurized water tank, holding tank. There is also a transom shower. The boat has VHF radio and a AM/FM CD player as well with the stock speaker placement. There is storage under bench seats, sofas, V-berth, and in the gunnels, the Head, and other compartments in the cabin as well. The cabin is in great shape. I have 3 covers for the boat, A new 1 year old Purple cockpit cover, full mooring cover-Teal, and a second cockpit cover that is used for when the mooring cover is on. The boat is a "Sleeper" because the engine hatch was modified to hide the engine upgrades. This means you can not tell that the motors have Whipples on them and that the engine hatch looks stock. The boat is a real head turner. It has unbelievable mid range and will jump right on plane. The boat is an awesome poker run boat because of its weight and performance. When it starts to get sloppy the hull is a wave crusher. It will pull away from the lighter Fountains/Donzis and Cigs all day. The side graphics are in great shape. The bow of the boat also has graphics however, they are fading. I am in the process of either removing and making all white or putting a vinyl wrap on the bow to match the sun pad (purple and teal). I will entertain any offer but know that a lot of the price is in the motors because to build these motors flat out are costly. I am the second owner of the boat. The trailer is a 2005 Performance triple axle bunk trailer with surge disc brakes on all axles. The trailer has 7 new tires (including spare), all new lights (LED), new bunks and bunk carpet, new tongue jack and new master cylinder. The trailer is in very good shape and overkill for the boat with a GVW of 15,000lbs. This trailer hauls with ease with the right vehicle.
