General Details

The most impressive part of the 270 BR's ride is how well it handles in turns. You have to fully turn the steering wheel a couple of times to get a tight turn, but that turn is incredibly tight.

Visibility is excellent, thanks to the adjustable helm seat that can be raised or lowered and has bolster seating. The bow has a V-shaped settee that has three different configurations. You can either add the standard pedestal table, put in the optional bow filler cushions or just leave the space open. In addition to the stowage space located under the settee cushions, you'll also find the indispensable anchor and rope locker at the very tip of the bow.
Moving back through the curved, tinted walk-through windshield and the fully recessed bow walk-through doors, there is a generous head area built into the port console. The console is forward of the passenger seat, which is just like the captain's seat (including the bolster).
In addition to a portable toilet, the head compartment boasts a sink with cold fresh water and a vanity mirror. A small pocket designed to hold a roll of toilet paper is built into the sink's fiberglass console.

A screened portlight provides plenty of light and ventilation, but it receives backup support in the form of an electric light and an electric blower. Crownline has thrown in a carbon monoxide detector and a 12v receptacle, and there is a zippered pouch inside the door of the head compartment.
Back in the cockpit, faux burled wood accents decorate the helm. The bezeled stainless steel analog gauges from Faria and the various rocker switches have been laid out well, and Crownline has included another 12v receptacle. The built-in cup holder and standard AM/FM CD player are both within easy reach.
The 270 BR's designers managed to hide a large stowage area inside the helm console. The boat has a lot of stowage spaces that are immaculately finished, with carpeted flooring. This particular space even has an electric light for illumination.

Just behind the captain's seat is a small wet bar, with a freshwater sink and more stowage space. The boat has a pressurized water system.

A U-shaped settee wraps around the transom. If you're not using the pedestal table at the bow, you can move it back to serve this aft settee.

The settee's center cushion flips open, allowing direct access to the boat's extended swim platform. The four-step telescoping ladder built into the platform and the stainless steel ski tow eye at the transom will make life easier for the skiers in your group.

Hidden beneath the snap-in Berber carpet that runs along the floor is lockable ski and wakeboard stowage. The in-floor locker has a hinged lid and a removable rubber pad.
