General Details

This is a classic Royal Lowell 28 Lobster boat design built by Carroll Lowell for his personal use. She has had 3 owners who have maintained her meticulously over the years.

She has been outfitted as a dayboat or overnighter and includes a small cabin with Vee - berth, cabinets, bureau, sink, cabin lighting and alcohol stove.

The cabin has a door to access the cockpit and 4 bronze opening portlights providing excellent ventilation.

Her original pilot house, cabin roof and deck is plywood sheathed in fiberglass. The timber framing of the forward cabin roof construction is visible on the cabin interior and has been finished as bright work.

The Herreshoff style interior appointments are simply constructed in a no frills manner.
