General Details

Coronado Yachts existed, during most of the years of it's operation, as an alternative brand to Columbia Yachts. Though it did have it's own independent origins as a company called Wesco, which began producing boats sometime around 1962. When Wesco ran out of money it was acquired by Frank Butler, who later founded Catalina Yachts. (Butler later described how he stepped in to finish his own yacht that he had ordered.)

The Coronado 41 is the stretched version of the 35. She has a very spacious Captains berth, with nice sized head. A shower head has been installed by a previous owner that effectively turns the head into a nice sized shower. The woodwork throughout the boat is wonderful. Take a look at the dinette table, Beautiful. In addition to the Captains berth, there are also the forward V-berth and the settee in the salon that can double as a single berth.

The forward head has been turned into a Chart Room and Library.

The Galley has a really big 3 burner stove, a newer model Kenmore Elite Refrigerator and a gorgeous stainless steel sink and countertop. A battery charger keeps everything running and the extra storage batteries are a great benefit.

The Perkins 50 HP Diesel powerplant was an option at time of purchase and she's pushed this beauty faithfully all these years.

This Coronado 41 is easily large enough to liveaboard as well as sail. Make her your next home on the water.
