The Mako 282 is a big, roomy center console that's a proven performer. With a length of just over 28 feet and a beam of 8 feet, 6 inches, she'll handle the seas beautifully. The large center console allows all the latest electronics to be mounted easily and conceals an optional electric head. She boasts the most rod storage of any 28-footer, loads of storage in her bow seating compartments, a forward casting deck, large bow anchor storage and a livewell bigger than most 40-footers have (and the drainage and circulating pumps are standard). Her performance, handing and comfort are outstanding. Foam-filled and self-bailing, this boat is one result of more than 30 years of experience in building offshore fishing machines.

Specifications

Condition
This vessel is in very good condition. There are some cosmetic issues that are gel coat related, and a couple of hinges to be fixed. It still has the shine on her hulls and topsides could use a polish. This boat has been maintained by San Carlos Marine, and all service records are available. Update, 7/21/2014, From owner Just an update on the boat, I replaced the tongue on the trailer last week and it is going in today to have all the brackets for the bunks replaced. Also installed 4 t-stats on the engines and ran it yesterday out to 55 miles and have been averaging 1.5 mpg fuel burn for total trip, that is pretty weighted down with dive gear also. I also installed a Lowrance HDI 7 bottom machine with a Navionics gold chart chip. There are also 4 new tires on the trailer, after today the trailer is practically rebuilt to new.
