As written in poerboatguide.com:Designed for cruising, fishing, or as a general utility boat the
durable Dyer 29 is an industry classic. Indeed, there are those
who think she's one of the most alluring small boats ever designed.
Production of the Dyer 29 began over 40 years ago making her
the longest-running fiberglass model in the business. Each of the
over 350 sold has been customized to some extent and no two are
exactly alike. At 7,400 pounds, the Dyer 29 would be considered
a light boat were it not for her narrow beam. She's built on a softchine
hull with a long, prop-protecting keel and an uncommonly
graceful sheer. The ability of the hull to tackle heavy sea conditions
is legendary. Those who own these boats tolerate her tight cabin
quarters and intrusive engine box while delighting in the fingertip
control and positive response of this easily driven hull. In addition
to the popular Trunk Cabin and Bass Boat models, the 29 has also
been produced in hardtop and express versions. Note that recent
models have the engine under the bridge deck which, by eliminating
the engine box, results in a much more open cockpit. Among
several engine options, a single 250hp diesel will cruise the Dyer
29 efficiently at 18 knots (23-24 knots top).

Construction
- Anchor - Bottom Paint - Tee Top - Bottom Paint (Done In 2006) - Bow Pulpit - There is no doubt that the key to the TZX200's solid feel is Skeeter's revolutionary Aluminum Torque Transfer Transom and Stringer System. While the boat is under construction, high-test aircraft structural aluminum is bonded to the transom and stringers on the TZX200. - The result of this system is the vertical torque forces generated by the thrust of the engine, as it pushes against the transom are transformed into a lateral horizontal force, which is distributed throughout the bottom of the boat, providing lift along the entire keel. - All of this heavy-duty engineering provides a really stiff structure to the boat, which you can feel as it is underway. The company says the boat could even be suspended by the engine bolts with no loss of hull integrity. - Stored Inside (Garage Kept) - Bottom Paint - Cabin Heat - Engine Cooling (Raw) - Gel Coat (Shinny) - Helm Console - Power Engine Hatch - Radar Arch - Stored Inside - Thru-hull Fittings - Gel Coat - Helm Console - Propeller (Duo Prop) - Stored Inside - Thru-hull Fittings - Bottom Paint (Could Be Painted.
