I photographed this boat on September 16, 2014. There are very few surface scratches on the hull, and they all appeared to be superficial at best. My opinion is they could be polished out. There are no soft spots on the deck that I notices, the hatches are solid, the stainless latches all work perfectly. I particularly like the Captain's seating platform........very high quality. The engine lower unit had a "whale tail" installed, but the owner removed the accessory. Owner will include the "whale tail" with the boat. New boat cover is only 4 months old. There is minor mold on some of the seating surfaces (not all)...this is easily remedied with some white vinegar and water. I did not detect any vinyl seating surface damage. The NAUTIC STAR is pre-wired for a trolling motor, but the owner has never installed one on this boat. A personal inspection of this boat will verify the condition as shown in the photos and the video. My opinion is you can trust this boat.
