1972 Allied Seabreeze Citation 35 For Sale!

Seller's Notes:

"Journey is a 1972 Allied 35 Seabreeze Yawl, Citation model, hull #129. There is an active Allied Seabreeze Owners Association (ASOA) providing a wealth of information and experience with these yachts.

Journey is a classic Yawl, made to last in 1972. She has been cruised extensively in the Chesapeake and is now laying at a Texas Marina. This is a boat capable of blue water cruising that can also be taken in to shoal draft areas where most boats of this size can not go. Her sail plan makes her a versatile cruiser able to manage nicely in very light winds under spinnaker and mizzen staysail, or fully reefed, or under "jib and jigger". Her ground tackle is heavy and has been proven in many a blow. She was sailed off a mooring in the Chesapeake - her diesel "iron sail" very reliable but used only when required. This is a no-nonsense boat with trusted manual fittings -- she does not rely on battery power to get her owners out and back. Even though considered a classic, she holds her own easily with much more modern sailboats - fast and nimble for her age - and her beautiful lines draw many an envious stare. Unfortunately her owners can no longer give her the attention she deserves and we hope she will find and continue to delight new owners who can spend time cruising and sailing her.
