General Details

Feel the true power of this rare 525 Horse Power Rocket! Top speed of 78mph! Low hours, lift kept, and well taken care of! Great on Gas too, only 7gal/hour at cruise speed of 40mph!

The 27 Fever is an exciting sportboat that's great for a day on the water.

The 27 Fever was designed to open the door to the first time high performance boat buyer, by keeping the high performance boat building standards on a 27-foot hull. Fountain has designed the Fever so the novice boater can get his feet wet in the race boat market without drowning in the cost.

Her power will amaze you. She's just what you would expect from a small race boat. She handled the tight turns like an agile cat and reaches a top speed of 78 miles per hour, with a best cruise speed of 40 miles per hour, and sipped on the fuel in doing so. When it comes to rough water the 27 Fever can hold its own in a moderate chop.

When standing or sitting at the helm the 27 Fever newly designed wraparound windshield allows for good 360% visibility thus creating a very high comfort zone when handling this boat. The driver's seat combined with the controls, steering wheel and instrumentation cluster seemed a bit tight, but remember this is a race boat design so everything is close for quick and easy access. The rest of the cockpit layout is very comfortable, with a three person bench seat just in front of a large sun pad which happens to be the engine hatch. There's a swim platform as well.

The gunwales are nice and high and slope aft, making it easy to get in and out of this boat. The features list is comparable to that of the bigger Fountains. The forward cabin has a leather interior with a wraparound sofa, V-berth with cushion and ultra suede pillows, and a privacy curtain. There's also a porta-potti below, making day trips much more pleasurable for everyone aboard.

She's quick, light, and agile, and makes a good first time high-performance buyer option.

Construction
- Anchor - Bottom Paint - Tee Top - Bottom Paint (Done In 2006) - Bow Pulpit - There is no doubt that the key to the TZX200's solid feel is Skeeter's revolutionary Aluminum Torque Transfer Transom and Stringer System. While the boat is under construction, high-test aircraft structural aluminum is bonded to the transom and stringers on the TZX200. - The result of this system is the vertical torque forces generated by the thrust of the engine, as it pushes against the transom are transformed into a lateral horizontal force, which is distributed throughout the bottom of the boat, providing lift along the entire keel. - All of this heavy-duty engineering provides a really stiff structure to the boat, which you can feel as it is underway. The company says the boat could even be suspended by the engine bolts with no loss of hull integrity. - Stored Inside (Garage Kept) - Bottom Paint - Cabin Heat - Engine Cooling (Raw) - Gel Coat (Shinny) - Helm Console - Power Engine Hatch - Radar Arch - Stored Inside - Thru-hull Fittings - Gel Coat - Helm Console - Propeller (Duo Prop) - Stored Inside - Thru-hull Fittings - Bottom Paint (Could Be Painted.
