The Brewer 12.8 is a much improved version of the famous Whitby 42. Notable differences are Brewer "Bite" keel w/ skeg rudder, centerboard providing a very balanced helm, increased ballast & stability, and a lighter yet stronger hull. This model is cutter rigged with a center cockpit, aft cabin, and two heads. Features include: hard dodger, genset/air conditioning, autopilot.  "Ya Ya" is a shoal draft centerboard version perfect for the Bahamas and beyond.

Forward is the guest stateroom featuring a V-berth (6' 8") with insert.  Lots of storage including lockers outboard, a hanging locker, and under berth storage.  The guest head is next aft to port and may be accessed from the forward stateroom or from the main salon.  Another hanging locker is opposite the guest head.  The main salon features a centerline dropleaf dining table with built-in storage and an L-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth. The settee to starboard serves nicely as a sea berth when underway.  There is deep storage space under and outboard of the salon settees.  The galley is next aft to port and the forward facing nav station is to starboard.  The nav table is large and has a comfortable bench type seat.  More storage is outboard.  The walk-thru to the aft cabin follows the nav station and has a work bench and still more storage and engine room access.  Continuing aft brings you to the spacious master stateroom with large athwartship double berth.  An extra large hanging locker is found here, as are drawers, lockers and other storage.  The ensuite head compartment is complete with sink, vanity, hamper and shower.  All teak is a light honey-color, making this interior especially bright and cheerful.
