General Details
THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND CLASSIC. COMPLETELY REFITTED BY CAY MARINE AT A PRICE OVER $350,000, THERE IS A NOTHING THAT IS 1983 ABOUT THIS BOAT. SHE ONLY HAS 350 HOURS ON HER YANMAR DIESELS AND LESS THEN 200 HOURS ON HER 3.5 KW PHAZOR GENERATOR.
A classic deep-V fishing boat that has never been equaled in popularity with offshore anglers. Its rough-water sea-keeping abilities are legendary. Salt Lick has been professionally reconstructed by Cay Marine Services, Miami. While leaving the forward reconditioned windows of the cabin as original, the entire cabin has been remodeled including a one level teak and holly sole, galley counter tops, head , forward berth and L-shaped settee. The Yanmar 315 hp diesels propel Salt Lick to speeds of 32 knots. The half tower has Rupp outriggers and the fly bridge has classic instrumentation along with a Garmin plotter/fish-finder. Salt lick is truly a masterpiece constructed for one lucky sport-fisherman.
Specifications
- Overview
- This boat was completly gutted and redone by a very knowledgable and particular boat owner. The exterior has been painted, custom cockpit insert installed with built in storage and steps, New aluminum work, new hard top, new Yanmar engines, new interior, new electrical, the list goes on and on. Underneath, there's the same original hull design that raced through heavy, wind-whipped, ten-to-twelve-foot seas to win the roughest Miami to Nassau race ever held.
