Additional information: Spud barge- Built in 2000 of mostly 3/8", 1/2" head log/ main longitudinal trusses and doublers, 1/4" transverse watertight bulkheads and 3/4" square spud wells. Designed to ABS specifications- 87' x 38' x 6'. Three square spud wells built of 3/4". Two spud wells on port and one on starboard forward. Current working spuds are 20"square. Forward is 42' long and stern is 28' long for dredging/ loading scow easily either side. A third 20" square spud 42' long is included (presently blasted and primed with weldable primer). There is a 6" x 1/2" split rube rail all around accept where the bow ramp interacts with the bow. Bow ramp is 35' long constructed of 24" I-beams, 13lb cross beams, 4"x4"x3/8"double X brace, Oak decking, and solid 3" wide hinges and sandblasted and coated black. Tool room below deck contains 97HP HPU Deutz with 340 hours since new, model BF4L914. Fuel and hydraulic oil near by. This system operated by remote control lifts and lowers the spuds and slews the scow. All plumbing below deck, exhaust routed forward and exits near forward spud. IPE work bench also below deck with organized bolt by length, tool and maintenance storage areas for crane, chainsaws, hpu and misc.
60' pile driving JIG, built of 2-24"x9" I-beams, includes a 16"x42' pipe for jig.
Various towing bridles. Assortment of 1/2" 3/4" 1" galvanized bolts with dock and regular washers and nuts already in bins on barge. Galvanized nails/spikes for dock building 3" - 8". Tool box with tools/ wrenches small and large. Some grease, oil, open spay gear lube, filters, rock drill bits, wood augers 1/2" through 1 1/2", Life vests, Oil absorbent pads and spill kits. Two chainsaws Day shape for dredging operations. Victor torch setup, Snatch blocks for working dump scow either side. Currently a 120 cubic yard box is built on deck for rehandling of dredging spoils. All hydraulics supplied and installed by Pine Hill Equipment and Hydraulics.
