General Details
The Maritimo 48 is as near perfection as is possible in a production vessel. It is the only fully enclosed flybridge Motoryacht under 50’. The legendary builder, Bill Barry Cotter, has taken his forty years of boat building experience, and if it is possible, has improved the 2012 model year M48, a design which is already the bestselling Maritimo in the Americas.
The 2012 Maritimo 48 is incredibly frugal on fuel without compromising performance. Designed with an advanced variable dead rise hull, engines mounted forward and fuel tank positioned amid ships, the M48 has superb balance and poise. Apply the power and you’ll never bury the stern, ride bow high or use fuel inefficiently.
The exciting new interior décor and layout changes for 2012 put the M48 in the forefront of style and comfort in a long range luxury Motoryacht.

- The M48 is a three cabin/two head arrangement. The spacious Owners Stateroom is in the middle of the ship with an in suite head and shower. The VIP Guest Stateroom is a centerline queen with in suite access to a shared head and shower. The third Stateroom can be configured with a single berth or twin bunks. It has access to the shared head as well. The main deck has two large leather covered settees “L” shaped to port forward and straight bench to starboard. Aft on the main deck to starboard is the expanded galley with island style surfaces, a full size refrigerator and freezer, and a large pull out pantry. Complementing the galley is the outside entertainment module containing a deep freeze, sink and food preparation area, and the optional electric grill. Aft to port on the main deck is a media center with large flat screen TV and Bose sound system. Additional, storage space is available in the media center for stemware, liquor, and another refrigerator or ice maker. The Flybridge has the helm positioned forward to starboard with an ample helm pod, twin Stidd seats and a short bench to port with seating for two. Aft of the helm position is an “L” shaped settee which can be made to convert to additional sleeping arrangement utilizing a drop down table. A fixed table is standard. An optional sunroof turns this enclosed area into an open airy space in good weather.
