“Family Tradition” is a 2001 43’ Viking Express Sportfisherman that features a master stateroom with queen berth forward in the bow, an all electric galley forward to port, opposite the head with separate shower. The main salon is spacious and features a Hi-Lo table, L-shaped leather sofa, stand up teak hanging locker, and a second lounge to starboard that converts to over/under bunks. There is a teak and holly sole throughout. Her helm deck has also been upgraded. She has a double wide, bench helm seat, her hardtop is over sized, she has grey indoor/outdoor carpeting on the helm deck to match her relatively new grey covered L-shaped seating. She also features a fiberglass helm pod with single lever controls. In the cockpit, she has a top loading freezer, a bait rigging station with sink and drawers, engine room access, a transom mounted live well, in deck fish box and both a pedestal mounted rocket launcher or fighting chair.
Entry into the salon is via a sliding, tinted, Plexiglas door with separate sliding screen door just to the right of center line from the helm deck. Down three teak steps to the main salon with the optional additional over/under berth to starboard, this converts to a love seat/sofa when the berths are not needed. There is a large teak hanging locker forward of the doorway and to the left along the aft bulkhead is the AC/DC distribution panel.
