- Hull and Deck
- Hull - New hull should be based at GRP technology, using as sandwich Divinycell H general purpose core, gelcoat is based on isophtalic resin. The material used is a PVC-foam made by Divinycell. It is fitted when the laminate is still wet, and then covered by laminate. The Divinycell is a superior material for a cruising boat, compared to balsa. The PVC foam has closed cells, which means that the material does not absorb water. The different colours of the Divinycell are an indication that different density of Divinycell is used. There is higher density around the chainplates. The Divinycell will finally be covered with more laminate. The decks are built in the same way as the hulls. Divinycell used as a core material and strong backing plates that are laminated into the deck under deck hardware. All laminate is carefully rolled out by hand The grid system is an advanced design that reinforces the hull under the waterline. The grid distributes loads from the bottom out in the hull in case of grounding. The grid will also be the support for the floorboards. All bulkheads are laminated from both sides, which gives additional strength. Deck and hull are laminated together. This is made from the inside. The coaming between hull and deck is also filled with filler. The rods for the stanchions will be fitted into the solid coaming. The bulkheads are laminated to the deck from both sides. The inside of the hull is painted with topcoat. - Vinyl rubbing strakes outside hull (VETUS) - Waterline and cove line laid in the Gelcoat - Bowsprit walk out Deck - Deck in white built with Standard GRP Technology, foam core hand made lay-up, Gelcoat finish exterior, - Thermal and sound foam insulated Steering System - VETUS Steering Pedestal steering system -VETUS Wheel -VETUS hydraulic steering systems, dual station control - Semi-balanced, profiled rudder with self aligning roller bearings -Emergency tiller Keel - Standard composite iron / lead keel, Bulb-keel - Performance draft: no more as 2.75 m -Stainless steel keel bolts Deck Equipment - Teak on side decks - Teak system on seats and cockpit floor - Teak system on coach roof - 4 retractable mooring cleats - Self-draining anchor locker with - VETUS electrical anchor windlass (1600 kg drag) under deck - Stainless Steel anchor stance for storage inside the locker - Mooring kit, lines, 6 fenders, - Chain zinked 60m - Cockpit table - Self-draining cockpit - Engine control at helm station stb. - Halyard storage boxes in the cockpit - Stainless steel swim ladder - Hot & cold water shower on aft deck - Storage for gas bottle - Genoa tracks with pin stop cars - Selftacking jib track, fully integrated in the foredeck - 2 x 6 sheave deck organizers - 12 deck jammers - 8 flush portholes in hull - Stainless steel 60cm pushpit with navigation light and ensign shaft socket - Split pulpit with navigation lights - Stainless steel stanchions tapered - 4 winches in cockpit, 2 primary winches 65 AEST (24V), 2 secondary winches 54 AST
