Designed to perform in close fleet racing, but also as a fast sailing yacht during summer cruises.
Aggressive shape of the PS-47' Sport to a triangle. The hull is very fine in the bow, broadening out to a very beamy boat at the stern, so much so that it will be fitted with water ballast, twin rudders and twin steering pedestals.
Design - there is light and aggressive a single-handed speed machine in the clothing of a luxury day cruiser. Focus in speed without forgetting the beauty of a day cruiser makes this boat a unique piece of art.
Customer shall meet the challenge of a fine combination of beauty and functionality. Everything in this boat must be able to work single-handedly, safe deck anywhere and in any weather conditions.
The interior of this boat is rather “Spartan” luxury. The saloon is looks as cruiser and the use of fine light Oak wood will give the interiors of the boat a sense of luxury.
As Option - Large water ballast tanks take their own space as well.
Sail area is increased by taking the extend Mainsail boom. The recessed genoa furler and the bowsprit for the reacher give speed at any wind angle.
The twin rudder and the lifting keel help the owner to enjoy shallow harbors while day cruising.
She proves this time and time again, and gives her owner and crew much pleasure in all conditions. Boat will gives the helmsman a very light and direct feel of the yacht, and she responds immediately to minor corrections. The sail plan, with the powerful main sail and 105% max jib.
COMFORT BELOW DECK-has sleeping accommodation for six persons, and will comfortably take a family of four-six out on a summer holiday cruise. During racing the saloon table can be removed to create space for storing additional sails.
The owner's specification for the PS-47' Racer Cruiser Sport "Bald Eagle" is to be able to sail - even race - the boat singlehanded.
An earlier version - the winner of regatta Keeler week in Germany (Keel) and frequent champion of the regatta Ukraine,
and crossed the stormy Atlantic and North Sea and the Baltic Sea and all the Mediterranean.
Boat very friendly for family go day sailing with his wife and long distance sailing Ocean trip. Flush hatches and the modern coach roof with the trendsetting “eyebrow” design
As option we offer there is a lifting keel which enables the draft to be reduced from 3.3m to just 2.0m when fully retracted, which should prove useful for cruising the Lakes.
Down below there are a few creature comforts to make day sailing an appealing proposition.
In the interior-there is full-size two toilets with locking door, a wash basin, so there are enough amenities to stay on board overnight and long-distance cruising, and there is a microwave oven and a fridge in the galley (0ption EUR900,-)
On deck, there are few visible signs of the boat's multipurpose design. In most respects it looks like a stripped out racer.
The rig and the cockpit layout have all been designed around having a boat that offers maximum power when needed, but which can still be managed singlehanded in the severest of ocean conditions.
Safety- has been very high points. The owner wants to know he can handle this boat in a stormy situation out on the ocean. So the stanchions are slightly higher than normal, there are extra securing points in the cockpit, and all lines are led to the cockpit, so even when You is sailing alone You can raise and lower all sails from the cockpit.

ENGINE:
VOLVO PENTA D2-40 SAILDRIVE 130S
Crankshaft kW/hp 29/40
The compact and reliable D2-40 provides massive torque across the whole speed range, low vibration and radically reduced exhaust emissions, making boating more comfortable than ever.
Low rpm for high onboard comfort
The D2-40 engines operate at low revs, giving excellent onboard comfort with low vibration and sound. The low rpm also makes it possible to use larger propellers, which, in turn, deliver higher output and a further reduction in vibrations.
Newly developed effective turbo and charge-air coolers keep exhaust emissions at a minimum. The D2-40 is a modern, low-emission engine. Start-up and acceleration smoke is reduced to a minimum.
115 A alternator
Modern boats tend to carry more and more power consuming features such as navigators, autopilots, fridges, etc. The D2-40 features a powerful 115 A alternator with a built-in charging sensor as standard. Together, they provide high charging capacity for single and multiple battery banks.
Freshwater cooling standard
The D2-40 is fitted with freshwater cooling as standard. This optimises engine working temperatures for greater efficiency and reduced maintenance. The cooling channels are constantly flushed with protective fluids rather than corrosive salt water.
Ready prepared hot water outlet allows for simple connection to a calorifier as part of a hot water system. Water heating is quick and efficient, thanks to the higher temperatures generated with a freshwater-cooled system, while the time and cost of calorifier installation are also reduced.
Long service life, easy to service
A Volvo Penta is often the chosen power source for charter boats, mostly because of its reliability and long service life in harsh, marine conditions.
Some examples: To avoid galvanic corrosion, the engine is equipped with unique electrical isolation between engine and S-drive. The freshwater cooling reduces internal corrosion.
The oil-change interval has been increased to 500 hrs. All service points are easy to access.
Sdrive installation and 2-bladed folding propeller.
Fuel tank
170-litre fuel tank with tank level gauge, deck fill, separator including filter and shut off valves.
Fresh water system

Shower with hot/cold freshwater at the bathing platform can be fitted ( Option* extras).
An Optional* 19 liter hot water tank (80° C) can be heated by a heat exchanger connected to the engine or it can be heated by an immersion heater connected to 220 V shore power. (extras)
Structural bulkheads
Marine plywood is used, varying in thickness, securely bonded to both hull and deck.
Keel
Bulb
Lead casting with antimony (TBD%) and an internal stainless steel frame. The bulb, earth-plate, guide blocks and total fin
(includes head) to be milled to accurate shapes.
Fin
Dillimax 890 Fin (or similar), milled to sectional shape (TBD), has a vertical wedge form to taper into the bulb and bolted
vertical (up) through the bulb frame into the fin.
The keel is protected with epoxy infused layer that protects the keel against corrosion.
Rudder & steering system
Jefa rudder and steering systems, twin rudder installation
The rudder blade is a sandwich construction made from laminated fiberglass and 100 kg/m³ Divinycell®.
The rudderstock is solid aluminum, tapered at both ends to keep weight to a minimum, and incorporating three welded wings for improved strength.
Roller bearings for the rudderstock achieve minimum friction and highest control, whereas the lower bearing is of the self-aligning type.
The wheel steering consists of a chain and cable system connected to a quadrant that is securely fitted to the rudderstock.
