Overview
WILDFLOWER is a center cockpit, raised saloon sailing ketch with three cabins plus a stand-up workshop. She was completely rebuilt from 1997 to 2001, over seen by Patton Marine. The entire interior was removed and started new from the hull shell. All new integral fiberglass tanks, all new plumbing, new machinery, and wiring supervised by Wards Electric. All systems are redundant and classed for round the world cruising.  For example, she carries 7 anchors including a stern mounted 120 CQR with 350' of 7/16" chain with its own windlass. She can make 115 gal/hr of potable water. Significant Rigging Update: At the time of the total major refit, all of the structural rigging chain plates and chain plate bulkheads were replaced, yielding not only narrower sheeting angles for headsail trim, but much stronger chain plate integrity.  (Photos documenting these significant details are available.)  All original stainless steel was removed and replaced with 316 polished stainless steel (see details on web site).  Patton Marine states "the hull today is in better condition and stronger than when she was originally built".
