General Details

This is the first Alaskan 65 to be delivered under the new ownership of Alaskan Yachts here in the U.S.  The Flushdeck 65 has been the display vessel for the Ft. Lauderdale based company, and with the new arrival of a 2012 Raised Pilothouse late in the Summer, the price of this demonstrator has just been reduced $200,000.

This untitled vessel has the four stateroom layout, open salon galley configuration, extended aft deck with longer boat deck overhead, and elegant satin hand rubbed teak interior. The open U-shaped galley, with color coordinated granite counter tops, offers fantastic 360 degree unobstructed views and becomes part of the overall main salon entertainment area.

The fuel efficient Caterpillar C-18 engines offer either 2000 mile range at displacement speeds, or the ability to travel at 22 knots if weather or cruising schedules demand earlier arrivals at your destination, and the five zone A/C system backed up with two Northern Lights generators insures comfort on the hottest Summer days.

Take advantage of new ownership of a vessel under warranty, add the dinghy of your choice, bring your personal gear and start enjoying cruising immediately with this excellent multi purpose design...a choice that you will not regret!

Broker Comments
Currently the Alaskan yacht design series is one of the longest running and most successful offshore cruising designs in the history of the category worldwide.  The name began in the sixties and seventies, was updated by Arthur DeFever in the mid nineties, and now offers 22 knots top speeds with Cat C-18 power and efficient displacement economy at slower speeds. This 2010 Alaskan was only used as the companies boat shows vessel for this past years East Coast shows as a result comes with all of the original factory warranties, and only needs a dinghy of your choice and your personal gear to be ready for cruising. Unusually attractive features such as the four stateroom layout, open main deck arrangement with 360 degree views from salon, galley, and inside steering station gives the feeling of a much larger yacht, and the extended upper aft deck with centerline davit allows launching of the dinghy on either side of the boat.  Add to this a fiberglass hard top on the fly bridge, Cat C-18 power package, two Northern Lights generators, bow and stern thrusters, and a very complete electronics and entertainment package, and you have a ready to go boat without the building time delay or new boat sorting out challenges.
