General Details

The new 2012 Maritimo 50 Cabriolet set a high standard for Sport Yachts.  She is fast, 30 knots or more.  She is very efficient and easy to handle with the Volvo IPS drive system.  Her economy is only matched by her built in safety features that include the highest safety rating from Volvo for an IPS drive design.  The wide side decks and hand rails make moving about as safe as it gets.

What makes the Sport Yacht a style so appealing to many is the accommodation of guests, helm and galley all in the same space on the main deck.  The 360° view for all on board is simply the best available today from any manufacturer.  A standard sunroof and opening side windows make this space perfect for all conditions.  Open when it’s nice weather and closed in air conditioned comfort when not.

The outside features are impressive as well with a large circular sun pad on the foredeck, a dinghy garage under the aft deck and an optional hydraulic swim platform.  The exterior aft deck has plenty of space for entertaining with ample seating, and the available ice maker, refrigerator and BBQ.  The boat is a party waiting to happen!

Accommodations
With a huge full beam master stateroom located in the middle of the ship, the Owner achieves the luxury found only in much larger yachts.  Large windows provide a bright cheery atmosphere and the Owner’s berth is angled in the stateroom to provide spectacular views when on the hook.  Storage abounds in this cabin and is completed with the private in suite head and shower.  The VIP cabin is a centerline queen forward with private entrance into a shared head.  The third cabin is a single berth or double bunk.   On the main deck the helm station is forward to starboard with an oversized STIDD seat.  Opposite is a large settee where up to six guests can lounge comfortably with full 360° views of the action.  The galley is aft with space and equipment available to prepare just about any meal like a master chef.
