General Details

(LOCATION: Aventura FL) The Magnum 44 Banzai sets the standards for express yachts with a blend of sleek styling, exciting performance, and lavish accommodations. Forty-four foot sport yachts are designed to utilize their size to match their comfort with their performance. This 44 Banzai features a luxurious interior and spacious cockpit. The dynamic design insures you'll not blend in with surrounding vessels.

On deck we have a large cockpit with lounge seating, cockpit wet bar, and spacious sun deck. Proving that style, luxury, and performance are not mutually exclusive the Magnum provides the best of all worlds.

Below we have an open salon that can be custom designed to meet the demands of any buyer. Stateroom accommodations, full galley, and luxurious salon seating provide respite from the the sun with room to relax or entertain.

You have your choice of MAN or CAT engines up to 800 horsepower and Arenson surface drives convert all that power into performance with a top speed of 55 mph. The engine compartment is expertly insulated to provide a quiet and comfortable interior.

While the Magnum 44 Banzai speaks for itself others do comment:

“Banzai delivers high performance and luxury without compromise.” (Jay Coyle, Yachting Magazine)

Technologically the most advanced boat in years. This beautiful new Magnum has impressive acceleration and top performance.

Magnum Marine, a Florida based company, whose boats have been described as "powerful, unforgettably powerful", is one of boating’s truly legendary companies.

"There is magic about a Magnum that is hard to define." (Dag Pike)

Magnum is "the finest in a performance offshore craft in existence today." (U.S. Customs Services)

Magnum's response is:

"We believe strongly in our role as the innovative force in the powerboat industry in producing the safest, fastest, most seaworthy, most reliable, most beautiful and most technologically advanced boats in the world.

The results are greater speed, better maneuverability, superior acceleration and a safer, more comfortable ride." (Katrin Theodoli)

Specifications

Accommodations
Interiors include a double master cabin, a full size head with shower, and a luxurious salon; a spacious cockpit with dinette area, cockpit refrigerator and icemaker, sundeck and ample seating completes the outside.
Deck & Hull
Hulls are hand laminated, and vacuum bagged, using either GRP, bullet proof Kevlar or carbon fibers for greater strength and weight reduction. Bottoms are solid glass of generally more than 2" thickness. Hull sides, deck and bulkheads are of composite structures; fiberglass/ epoxy and foam core for greater strength and weight saving. Aircraft type nomex composites are used for light weight interior structures. Magnum hulls are thick, safe and heavy. Mass is a key factor in Magnum’s comfortable ride. " The boat’s construction isn’t super exotic, just super strong." (Mike Smith — Boating Magazine ) The deep-vee hull design with 24 degrees deadrise guaranties a comfortable ride even in adverse sea conditions.
Mechanical & Electrical
Twin CAT or MAN diesels: 715 HP - 800 HP Arneson surface drives improve top speed whilst reducing drag and improving fuel economy. Most important systems have a back-up system to prevent potential problems. Pumps for equipment in the living quarters, as for the heads, ice makers, refrigerators etc. are engine room mounted to keep the living areas quiet. Special insulation of the engine room, bulkheads and cabins provides extreme sound dampening for a more comfortable ride. Custom designed Nibral Rolla propellers provide improved performance with less vibration
