A classic from a bygone era that has been extensively updated by her loving owners.  ONE TOO MANY has spent most of her life in fresh water and each winter she is cozily mothballed in heated storage until the next season’s activities.  Advanced electronics, low fuel consumption, stabilization, bow & stern thrusters with liveaboard features make ONE TOO MANY an exceptional cruising yacht with stress free docking in a crowded marina.
Three aft staterooms plus one forward stateroom can easily accommodate 8 persons.  In the full width master stateroom there are mahogany trimmed port and starboard single berths with deep storage drawers beneath. A full width mirror over the built-in centerline 5 drawer dresser conceals a watertight door for access to lazarette and aft deck.  The master stateroom has twin hanging lockers and a private head ensuite with an enclosed stall shower.   The two guest staterooms each have upper & lower criss-crossing single berths with built-in drawers and full height hanging lockers.  There is a separate guest head with stall shower, shared by the two guest staterooms.  All heads are updated, with Sealand Vacuflush systems.
Main salon level
Up to the main salon level, there is a comfortable sofa, 2 leather recliners , a coffee table, and 2 chests which can be used to accommodate a fax machine and additional storage. All salon furniture new in 2010.  A wet-bar is forward starboard with stainless steel sink, Raritan ice maker and liquor and beverage holders. To port is a new 42 inch Sylvania flat screen TV housed in a custom lift cabinet and a custom cabinet for the stereo system.   Teak and holly soles are to be found in the pilothouse, galley, all heads, and in the forward stateroom.  Recently added are cherry hardwood planked soles to the main salon area, aft passageway, and aft staterooms.  Custom mini-blinds ensure privacy while mahogany trim is featured throughout.  Also installed in 2010 are new custom soft goods throughout.
The galley and dinette are forward and down three steps from the main salon. With teak and holly varnished sole extending from the galley into the forward stateroom this area is clean and nautical in appearances.  There are opening portlights to port and starboard and excellent lighting built-in.  There are new appliances including a new Kenmore refrigerator/freezer, Frigidaire dishwasher, and KitchenAid combo microwave/convention oven.  The cabinet faces were replaced and Corian countertops and Corian dinette top added.  A Corian sink is fitted with a Grohe single lever faucet.  Also included is a 4 burner GE cooktop with conventional oven with a stainless steel exhaust hood above.  A Magnavox 17” flatscreen TV is installed adjacent to the dinette.  A combination washer/dryer is built-in aft.
Crew Quarters
The crew quarters are located just forward from the galley dinette area.  There are upper and lower berths with reading lamps for each.  The crew head and separate shower stall are on either side of the center companionway. Forward is a hanging closet with a watertight bulkhead and door access to the chain locker.
Situated ideally amidship, the pilothouse offers full 360 degree visibility for the helmsman and passengers alike.  A leather upholstered bench seat faces forward and can easily accommodate 3-4 people.  Opening windows to port, starboard, and the center windshield enable ventilation as desired.  Aft of the helm are companion seats built-in along with storage compartments and a nav station.  Double doors aft provide access to the aft deck salon and side decks.
Aft deck
The aft deck can be accessed from the pilothouse or from the side deck wing doors to port and starboard.  This aft salon area is furnished with a large custom settee aft, 2 custom wood topped, Pompanette hi-lo tables with 4 adjustable Tri-Comfort lounge chairs and 2 matching side chairs for cocktails or dining for 12.  An overhead hatch and removable ladder allows access to the boat deck and flybridge seating area above.  The aft salon can be fully enclosed with custom Isinglass curtains across the stern and on both sides.  The panels have handy zippered windows for partial opening or can be removed altogether.  The wing doors to port and starboard give access to the open side decks running forward to the bow.
The side decks and foredeck have recently been re-surfaced with faux teak decking and all subdecking and framing refurbished as needed.  Varnished mahogany handrails from the wing doors all the way to the stem provide safe transit to the working foredeck for anchoring and line handling.  The high capacity 32V windlass and bow roller anchor system makes anchoring a pleasure.  There is a built-in bow seat across the forward trunk cabin with cushions, cover, and storage beneath.  Additional storage is in the port and starboard fiberglass dunnage boxes. The canister liferaft is mounted centerline on the foredeck between the windlass and the foredeck hatch to the crew quarters.

A custom Bass electrical distribution panel is located in the pilothouse which monitors and controls all electrics.  Separate panels for generator and watermaker operations are located nearby.  Port & starboard shore power switching with a boost switch are adjacent to the panel.  A newly installed (2010) Newmar 2400 watt inverter instantly senses a shore power failure and switches to ample backup power for A/C appliances.  The inverter provides enough A/C power to operate the refrigerator, microwave, TV, stereo, dishwasher without the generator when under way or at anchor.  Three large battery banks (2009) provide ONE TOO MANY with exceptional electrical independence for extended island cruising and quiet nights.  The 16kw Northern Lights generator quickly and quietly recharges batteries and provides additional power.  A complete set of shore cord with y-adapters and end adapters is on board for most marina applications.   12/24/32/110/ & 220 Volt systems Port and Starboard shore power inlets Newmar 2400 watt inverter/charger Sentry 32V back-up charger Professional Mariner 24V back-up charger Guest 12V charger Vanner 60 amp Voltmaster battery equalizer Northern Lights 16kw generator with 1125 hours
