General Details

Recently Reduced - Owner Very Motivated! (LOCATION: Port Charlotte FL) This 34’ CHB/Marine Trader Trawler is  perfect pocket cruiser for the great loop, Bahama’s, or anywhere else.  She draws only 3½-feet and burns only 2.8-gallon’s per hour at a 6-knot, 1500-rpm cruising speed, using both engines. This is the only one of these built with twin engines – Irish Charmer is truly a rarity.

The forward cabin includes a v-berth with an inset to form a full queen berth. She has a teak parquet sole, recessed lighting, a large opening hatch overhead, opening bronze ports, a large hanging locker and drawer storage everywhere. Her private head includes a stand-up shower which is provided with a full teak grate.

From here one goes up three steps to the main dining saloon. The galley’s to port with a starboard lower helm, complete with instrumentation and seating. There’s a bar area, large dinette table which will comfortably seat four, and drop down to sleep two with a small settee to port, along with the air conditioning unit. Flooring throughout the vessel is done in beautiful teak parquet, her headliner is off white with overhead lights and fluorescent accent lighting. There are windows and ports galore, which give the vessel an open and airy feel.

The aft cabin is entered through a companionway to port. It boasts a large hanging locker, reading lights, an emergency door with steps aft, large opening ports, and once again, plenty of storage areas and drawers to place ones’ necessities. The private master head has a stand-up shower, sink, marine head, mirrors and vanity. The privacy door has beautiful teak woodwork in a raised bamboo pattern.

On deck there is plenty of room to enjoy your day on the water. The open flybridge features an Emerald Green bimini top and flybridge cover. There is a  fully equipped starboard helm station and guest seating to either side. A dock box encloses a quiet running propane generator that provides offshore electrical power. A few steps down from the flybridge is an open sundeck with aluminum mast and boom and room to relax or sunbathe. The walkaround main deck has a stainless steel bow rail, bow pulpit with anchor, teak trim, large teak skylight over the forward cabin, wide side decks, starboard salon access, aft cabin access, spacious aft deck with ladder and a full swim platform.

Powered by twin, 4-cylinder Ford Lehman engines with only 2,000-hours, this double-cabin trawler combines economy and dependability. This is a very nice, well-maintained vessel that is ready to cruise; she’s been upgraded with new canvas, and upholstery throughout. Her owner’s difficulty getting around on her is the only reason she’s being sold.  A possible trade for something like a Road track camper van is an option here. Please give us a call for further details or an appointment to view this compact, well-equipped trawler.
