Introduction

The Navigator is a handsome offshore cruising yacht that strikes a balance between luxury amenities, economical operation, at a very competitive price. Wide open interior features spacious full-beam Salon with U shaped Galley forward, inside bridge access with 3 staterooms, two full heads. She has a huge cockpit which is a plus. VERY IMPORTANT IS THAT MALAHAT HAS THE UPGRADED VOLVO ENGINES WITH 430 HP. These engines are not only economical but give you the extra speed you may need.

Detailed Vessel Walkthrough

Accommodations include full width master stateroom, two guest staterooms, galley up, spacious salon, huge engine room, efficient pilothouse, and an open flybridge. Interior is finished in light maple and all neutral tone fabrics, with brass hardware. Wide windows offer bright and cheery feeling in the salon, galley and pilothouse. The screened, double slider entry into the salon offers excellent views and an open feeling. The pilothouse offers 360 degree visibility for great cruising and easy docking. Optional equipment includes the bigger engines, bow thruster, stern thruster, two complete electronics packages at both stations, autopilot, radar, depth and VHF?s, center console hard bottom inflatable w/four stroke Yamaha 40 hp outboard, dinghy davit, flybridge wet bar and grill, wine chiller in the salon and the list goes on. The engine room deserves special mention as you can get completely around both engines and generator plus have exceptional access to all plumbing, air conditioning and other ancillary systems. The aft placement of the fuel tanks makes this especially comfortable for the hands on captain, rivaling the engine room of a much larger motoryacht.   NEW carpeting throughout (January 2009) NEW maple flooring in the Galley and Companionway and Pilothouse  (January 2009)

Main Salon

You enter the main salon from the aft cockpit through dual sliding glass doors which have sliding screens to let fresh air in. The main salon has been upgraded with fresh luxury carpet (01/09)! A raised bar with bar stools provides casual dining between the salon and galley. A free standing high gloss maple coffee table is also included but not shown. A new wine cooler has been installed (January 2009) to starboard. Also added a new crème colored "Natuzzi" leather sofa in Salon. New blinds have been installed (01/09).  New flat screen TV has been added in (January 2009).  Bose system with speakers.

Galley

The large U-shape galley is port and forward in the main salon with Corian counter tops and double molded Corian sinks. The galley has a Samsung microwave oven (new 10/10) which is concealed behind maple accordion doors. A full height Norcold refrigerator with freezer on top has Bird's Eye Maple door panels. A 3 burner Princess electric cook top completes the galley. Cabinets above the sink allow ample room to store stem ware. Numerous deep cabinets and drawers within the galley allow for spacious storage for panty and cookware. Also there is an engine room access door in the galley sole that escorts you directly to the pump room section of the machinery room.

Master Stateroom

VIP Suite

The VIP stateroom is Located forward with a large queen size berth and loads of storage in two large drawers and a full length cedar lined closet A built in television and speakers from the sound systems are also ensuite. There is also a deck hatch and portholes for lots of natural light and ventilation. This stateroom shares a full head with the port stateroom.

Guest Stateroom and Hanging Locker

The guest stateroom is located to port and has twin bunk beds with overhead storage. A porthole provides natural light.  Speakers provide entertainment from the sound system.

Flybridge

There is J-shape built-in seating to port and starboard and a full console with a bench captain seats for two. An entertainment center with a Jenn-Air- electric barbeque, wet bar and refrigerator with ice maker is forward to starboard. The entertainment center and captain seating is protected under the bimini top. The sundeck provides storage for a 1000 lb Brower Davit and 12' Zodiac RIB tender with Yamaha 40hp 4-cycle Outboard. Canvas covers for all seating and tenders were replaced in (8/05).  Visibility is great and this area is very well designed for comfort and entertaining.

Pilothouse

The pilothouse has an L-shaped settee and corian table to port. The piIothouse carpeting was replaced with maple hardwood flooring (01/09). The console is located on center with a swivel captains chair (not shown) which rotates to use as dining seating with the pilothouse table. A companionway to the main salon and stateroom is located to starboard along with a pilothouse door and sliding screen. Stairs aft through a sliding glass door allow access to the flybridge.  The pilothouse settee was recovered in (1/09} with a crème colored ultra leather.
