The private forward cabin has a V-berth with drawers and counter top to port, full length shelved locker to starboard (easily converted to a hanging locker). Moving aft, the fully enclosed, generously sized head (with shower) is to port, with a full length wet hanging locker, counter, and storage to starboard. At the center of the main salon is a teak drop leaf table with deep center storage, flanked by full-length settee and pilot berths. The U-shaped galley is to starboard at the base of the companionway and includes a deep stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressure water, three-burner gimballed propane stove with oven, large icebox, and plenty of storage. The nav station is to port with a large quarter berth aft.
While not raced by her current owner, STARFIRE is ready to compete, with a versatile deck layout, newer sails, full spinnaker gear, Garhauer jib lead adjustment system, and a PHRF rating of 123 (Long Island Sound). For cruising or racing, she also carries an asymmetrical spinnaker.
