1989 51 (ft.) Beneteau First 51

Fast Frers designed Beneteau sloop. 51 feet (15.45m) long overall. From the time when Beneteau built solid and comfortable yachts, and before German Frers became famous designing eye-wateringly expensive Swans and Wally yachts.

This model is acknowledged as being very spacious inside, and fitted out as the owner’s version with two spacious double cabins each with an en-suite head and shower, plus a crew berth in the forepeak.

Just two owners from new, never chartered, only lightly raced in gentlemanly clubman’s events, and only day sailed for the last few years. Recently having had the benefit of a $75,000 interior refit; with most of the electrical and mechanical systems replaced; new upholstery; and beautifully revarnished. Seriously for sale by an elderly owner who regrettably must let her go.
