"In relatively calm seas --- two-to-three-foot waves --- it's very easy to get up on plane with four or five people on board," the owner says. Typical cruising speed is about 25 knots at 3,200 revolutions per minute, at which the engines burn about 10 gallons of gasoline per engine per hour, or about 20 gallons per hour total, he says. The owner has made a five-hour voyage in open ocean in this boat. He has found it stable in rough seas, including six-to-eight-foot waves. The cabin sleeps five adults, and six people total if children are among them. The cockpit sleeps two adults. So a total of seven adults can sleep on the boat. The owner is selling the boat because his children are grown and he finds it hard to get a crew to go out with him.
