WILLING represents a unique opportunity to purchase the famed, salty Cape Dory flybridge with amenities not often found on these boats. The McKnew Powerboat Guide says it best:

"Introduced in 1985 and lasting a decade in production, the Cape Dory 28 is a graceful Downeast-style cruiser whose lobster-boat heritage can be seen in her salty, workboat profile. She was available in several configurations over the years - the flybridge model...proved very popular.

The 28 was built on an easy-riding semi-displacement hull with a moderate beam, rounded bilges, and a fully protected prop. The flybridge and open models have a single stateroom floorplan with a V-berth forward, a compact galley and an enclosed, standup head compartment...Additional features include wide sidedecks, good service access to the engine and sliding cabin windows in the flybridge model...A very popular boat, over 220 Cape Dory 28s (mostly flybridge models) were built during her production years."

We think this listing is superior to the other Cape Dory 28's currently on the market because she has only 300 hours since a major overhaul in 2002, she has the HS1 hydraulic Volvo transmission (verses the HS3 or 4) which for you engineers out there means the transmission does not have the dry cone clutch (no need to go to idle before shifting.) She also has a 16,000 btu Cruisair reverse air heating and cooling unit, and best of all - a 5kw Northern Lights generator with only 200 hours. She also comes with a dink and removable davits.
