General Details

Anyone looking for a 55' - 62' Euro look motor yacht needs to inspect AL DI LA.  The scope of her refit and the quality of work that went into the project are highly unusual.  Great care and thought went into space planning and improvement that will be evident by anyone who looks at her.

Vessel Walkthrough
The vessel may be entered via her swim platform or from rail breaks on the side decks via a Marquipt boarding ladder.  The Aft Deck has built in seating, twin tables and comfortable steps to the Flybridge.    Entry to the Salon is via a stainless steel trimmed sliding entry door offset to port.   The Salon has a couch to port and two occasional chairs to starboard separated by a chest with two drawers.    Forward is a 46" LCD TV built into the port bulkhead.   Forward and up two steps is a completely redesigned Galley spanning the full beam of this area.   Centerline steps lead to the customized accommodation area with a VIP and private Head forward and an expanded Master Cabin amidships.  The area that used to occupy the third stateroom is now a huge Head for the Master Suite.     Salon Entered from the aft end slightly to port you will quickly recognize this is not a typical 19 year old boat!    All of the interior paneling has been replaced with high gloss African burl wood.  The overhead has been recovered and all the furniture is new and free standing instead of built in.   To port is a high back sofa with loose accent pillows upholstered in alligator embossed leather.    To starboard are two La-Z-Boy recliners upholstered in a zebra fabric separated by a two drawer leather chest.   Full drapes across the entry door and Silhouette shades on the ample side windows provide privacy when needed.    Forward to port is a Samsung HD 46" LED TV built into the bulkhead.  The adjacent electronics entertainment cabinet houses a Samsung Blue Ray/DVD player and Sat TV receiver.  To starboard is a decorator framed mirror with a small shelf below.  The sole has a large Persian carpet over a newly installed salon sole.    Overhead are several LED lights set into a silk fabric overhead with a very attractive tray ceiling feature on centerline.     Galley The Galley is up two steps from the Salon and is larger than any other similar sized Neptunus due to the deletion of the lower station.  The same burl wood flows forward from the Salon with the sole being of a lighter contrasting maple Amtico flooring.    Going forward to starboard is a full height burl wood bulkhead (with electric locker within) that hides the full size Whirlpool Gold refrigerator freezer with ice and water in the door.  The refrigerator faces forward.    Next forward is a granite countertop with an under mount sink and the built in Bosch stainless steel dishwasher.    Immediately to port, facing aft is a granite topped breakfast bar with storage below and two leather swivel barstools with arms.  Forward and outboard are three drawers, a large cabinet and forward in the L shaped granite countertop is a stainless steel GE Profile microwave/convection oven and above a four burner GE Ceran top cook top.    There are ample cabinets above and below.  Also in the Galley is a trash compactor and LED lighting to accent the large side windows offering great views and abundant natural lighting.     Companionway Centerline steps from the Galley area lead to the two generous staterooms below.  The Companionway has been widened and the stairs are carpeted with a wrought iron railing.   From the landing at the bottom of the stairs one can go forward to the en suite VIP or aft and down two more stairs to a leaded glass sliding doorway leading into the Master Cabin. There is also a full walk in cedar lined closet between the two cabins.     Master Stateroom The area occupied by the Master Suite has been greatly expanded by the deletion of the Starboard Side Head allowing the cabin to be full beam.  The forward area was once occupied by a third cabin and head.    Upon entering the Master Suite through the sliding leaded glass door over the island queen berth and her ultra high end wood frame with a wood and leather headboard really give an idea of the amount of customization AL DI LA has gone through.    The beam has a custom memory foam mattress.  Instead of built in nightstands free standing end tables with hand painted tape and fancy dual fixture sconces flank the berth.  The lights are set upon high gloss African burl wood joinery giving the impression that you are in a much larger vessel.    AC delivery is via the sconce above the berth as to not blow cold air directly on the berth.    To starboard is a series of three burl wood cabinets with a shelf above.  Two opening portholes are behind Duette shades above the shelf.    Next forward is a two door cabinet with an LCD 26" TV mounted and angled toward the berth.   To port is a series of a four burl wood cabinets, a shelf above and two additional portholes behind Duette shades.   The overhead of this area has the look of a coffered ceiling with lighted panels and fabric accent over the berth.   Also in the Master Cabin are ample LED lights in the overhead, a central vacuum, a Bosch front load washer and separate dryer and the entrance to the en suite Head.     Master Head The Master Head is much more generous than one normally found on a boat of this size due to the customization by the current owner.    Outboard is a large burl wood vanity with a bow front cabinet forward and a vessel type sink mounted on the granite countertop.  There are two storage lockers below.   Above the granite countertop are two opening portholes with two mirrored cabinets above with a sconce light mounted on a burl wood panel between.    Forward is a large two person shower with a clear glass door and sidelight and a shelf, a wall mounted fixture and a light.    Inboard is a large granite topped vanity with an upholstered cherry, burl wood drawer and a large mirror above as well as a wall mounted lighted makeup mirror.  The Head is a Raritan freshwater electric flush models.   Also in the Head is a full height burl wood storage cabinets, LED lights and AC vent and an exhaust fan.     VIP Stateroom All the way forward in the centerline Companionway is the entrance to the VIP Suite.   Upon entering is a centerline island berth with a padded bolster around the perimeter and two storage cabinets below.  The berth lifts to reveal additional storage under the mattress.  The mattress is a new memory foam mattress.  Flanking the upholstered headboard are two wall sconces to serve as reading lights.  Built in shelves port and starboard serve as nightstands.  Below the shelf to starboard is one storage cabinet followed by an upholstered bench seat followed by a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker.  Set into an upholstered panel above the shelf are two opening portholes with dark pleated shades.  Next above the portholes are six whitewashed ash cabinet doors.   The portside has the same six cabinet doors on top, two opening portholes with shades below and a storage cabinet followed by another hanging locker and then the entrance to the en suite Head.   Also in the cabin is an LCD TV with DVD player, a hatch over the berth with a sliding shade and LED lighting in the headliner.     VIP Head Aft on the portside of the VIP Cabin is the VIP Head.  There is a bow front vanity with two cabinet doors below and under mount china sink on the granite countertop.  Above are six mirrored medicine cabinet doors with two opening portholes below with a pleated shade for privacy as needed.    The sole is marble tile and the toilet is a Raritan Atlantic freshwater flush model.  The separate stall shower is tiled in mosaic marble tile and has a wall mounted or handheld fixture.    Across the Head is an attractive vanity with a granite top, a drawer, an upholstered stool and a large mirror above.    Also in the Head is LED overhead lighting.  On AC vent and an exhaust fan.      Forward Deck Nu Teak synthetic teak over fiberglass on walkways Fiberglass bow pulpit approximately 750 hours.  During the 2009/10 refit the engines were serviced, baroscoped, compression checked and given a clean bill of health.      Comments Anyone looking for a 55' - 62' Euro look
