General Details

The 36 Jersey is an ideal boat for fishing, especially trolling. The relatively flat aft section of the hull results in unusual stability… no rolling around all day. She draws only 2 ½ ft., a great advantage in theChesapeake Bay. The cockpit is large enough to fish several anglers, and she raises lots of fish. We have caught everything from flounder to Blue Marlin on her!

This boat is ready and capable to travel anywhere! Someone is going to get a great boat.

Specifications

Introduction
The current owner purchased the 1988 Jersey Dawn 36 in the Fall of 2002 with 164 hours on new engines. The previous owner had just completed a major renovation including replacing the old gas engines with brand new Cummins 5.9 litre 330 hp diesels. In addition, the following was done: Installed teak cockpit floor New Onan 6.5 generator Silicone fuel lines           Dripless shaft seals New fresh water tanks, total 150 gal. Major rewiring New Vacuflush head New Autopilot Interior redecoration New carpet        Extensive exterior cosmetics  The boat has since been maintained the boat to Cummins standards, She now has 1300 hours on the engines. Only the synthetic oil recommended by Cummins engineering has been used in the engines for the entire time. They still perform as they did when we bought it. This boat is the most comfortable and economical cruiser available in this price range. She cruises at 25 knots, burning about 22 gph. If you slow down to 2200 rpms, about 21 knots, she will burn about 16 gph, or 1.3 mpg. The galley down configuration allows for a spacious salon for a boat this size. And, the single stateroom layout makes a roomy stateroom and large head with walk in shower possible. It’s perfect for two people perhaps spending many week long vacations on the boat in great comfort.
