1991 20 (ft.) Shamrock 20 Express

For over thirty years, Shamrock boats have set the standard of excellence in the mid-size sport fishing boat industry.  Shamrock Boats was the largest producer of midsize inboard powered sport fishing boats.  It lead the industry with developments like the keel drive system for midsize fishing boats.  All boats were made with solid glass hulls……no cored hulls here.

This 1991 Shamrock 20 Cuddy Cabin is an excellent example of a quality hull with a full keel and the direct keel drive system.  Draft is two feet and the three blade propeller is fully protected.  The boat comes with an inboard Ford 351 CID, 5.8L, producing 260 H.P.  It cruises very economically and comfortably at 20 knots with a maximum speed of around 30 knots.  This is one great fishing machine!

Four years ago, the boat had a major valve job (stainless), new prop, shaft, new seals, thermostat, carb cleansing and new packing gland.  Included in this deal is a 1992 galvanized Magic-Tilt two axle trailer.   This boat is ready is for its new owner.

Acccommodations:

The boat has a small cuddy cabin which can sleep two in two vee berths…….Porta-potti is included.  There are two small ports on each side of the cabin with a nice sized forward opening hatch.  Aft of the cuddy cabin, is the helms station on the starboard side and a large cushioned bench seat on the centerline.  Further aft, is a large cockpit, great for those fishing excursions.
