General Details

Newly powered with 2007 Evinrudes 2 strokes that run whisper quiet and super efficient. Not installed until 2009 brand new in 2009. Lowrance HDS 10 One great boat, well taken care of. Cruising speed is 20 to 30 knots. Max speed is 40+. Very few boats will beat this to the fishing grounds or back, especially in choppy waters Draft is 2.5ft, Deadrise ~15 degrees, Beam ~8ft Bennett hydraulic trim tabs. Very effective in trimming lateral load imbalances (fat fishermen) underway. The plotter is HDS10 with Navionics maps, structure scan, dual frequency sounder, and radar overlay of maps. The broadband radar can "see" birds above a fish feeding frenzy. There is NO music on this vessel! We FISH with it. There are 2 batteries. They are NAPA Premium Marine Starting batteries. 1000 Cranking amps, 800 cold cranking amps, 24 month, installed January 2012. No trailer Buying a bigger boat, for farther offshore fishing in rougher water. Very solid riding boat, fast even when in 2 to 4ft seas Lots of fishing area for four fishermen. The transom "door" is excellent for bringing in large fish without having to lift them very high and the side fish lockers allow them to be slid into the locker without them flopping around in the cockpit. Very e-fish-ent. There is also a varnished mahogany swivel chair with rod butt gimble for chasing and fighting large fish. Not shown but included with the vessel. The chair mounts in a deck fitting between the two forward seats. There is no need to back down on a fish although with the engine bracket backing down into a sea does not bring water into the cockpit. The outriggers are currently set for one line each although they are long enough that two lines each could be set up. I typically trolled the two outrigger lines, two gun'l lines, and two teasers off the stern quarters. It's a rather large spread and was effective for King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, baracuda, sharks and sailfish. The console seat - tackle center is very spacious and for me was my tackle store asea. Large bags of lures, dredges, umbrellas, teasers were stored in the aft starboard locker and under the console. The console was also a storage location for the cast net, extra rode, and the downriggers. The upper tackle door folds down to form a tackle setup bench. The upper tackle area can hold 12 Plano 8x12 boxes. The 6 drawers held: packaged terminal tackle, sinkers, large rigged terminal tackle, sunscreen-bug repellent-documents, tools, leaders. The pockets behind the seat back is very handy for a place to put anything during the heat of the battle. Gaffs, boat pole, nets, deck brushes, fish lassos, large dehookers were stored in the side gun'l areas as well as four light spinning rods. Over the helm is a net "T-bag" although it is not the brand name of the bag. Paper charts, PFD vests were stored there for rapid access at the helm. All deck, console and external surfaces have been painted with Awl grip urethane paint. It proves to be very scratch resistent and easier to clean than gelcoat. I'm having the working decks repainted for the buyer so they look their best. I'm also having the bottom sanded and painted with Micron 66 ablative antifouling paint (black). This should be done by the middle of May. These activities as well as the chair are included in the asking price. Full list of equipment below.
