"Kathryn E" has a fully enclosed aft deck with wing doors and a soft enclosure port, starboard and aft. The pilothouse is open ot the aft deck with no bulkhead in between as some of the 57 Connies had. There is a wet bar with an icemaker to port. Aft deck furnishings include a faux wicker sofa, 3 chairs a glass top cocktail table and 2 ottomans. Through a full height "phone booth" style companionway door and down is the varnished mahogany main saloon. There are new wood blinds and panel draperies on the side windows. Furnishings include an "L" shaped sofa, a lounge chair, occasional chairs and a period side table. The original mahogany cabinetry is forward with tambour doors. Below forward is the galley with a new teak and holly sole and bright white high gloss bulkheads. Original in configuration, the galley has a vintage refrigerator/freezer, range, oven, microwave, dishwasher and formica counter tops. There is a booth style dinette which will convert to a sleeping accommodation. Forward of the galley is the crew stateroom with upper and lower berths, new custom linens and soft goods, and a ensuite head/shower. Below aft is a guest stateroom to port with twin berths, bright white high gloss bulkheads and custom cabinetry. The guest stateroom has all new soft goods and bed linens with custom pillows and matching draperies. The guest head and stall shower is to starboard with a new teak and holly sole. Fully aft is the full beam master stateroom with her original twin berth configuration. This stateroom features the bright white high gloss finish with varnished mahogany trim in the Herreshoff style. Bed linens and soft good are all new and beautifully coordinated. The master head and stall shower is to starboard, has a new teak and holly sole. The interior of this beautiful yacht is freshly refinished, crisp, clean and appropriately decorated with period correct fittings and accessories.
