General Details

Designed by Ed Monk and built by Nordlund in 1991 Tacoma, WA, WIDE WATERS is a perfect west coast yacht, combining classic good looks with a highly functional interior and deck layout.  The spacious galley is open to the salon. The large pilothouse features a comfortable settee and table.  The flybridge and boat deck areas are perfect for toys and entertaining.  Originally one of Nordlund's 63 series, her cockpit was extended five feet.  This well done modification greatly improved looks, performance, and most of all, created a comfortable aft cockpit.

This is a three stateroom boat, with a particularly generous owner's accommodation.  The two 8V-92 Detroit DDEC diesels and two Kohler generators are easily maintained in WIDE WATER's stand-up engine room.  There is plenty of space around all systems; stabilizers water maker, air conditioning, etc. allowing for clear access.  A bow thruster and stern controls increase the ease of handling.
