General Details
This solid ocean cruising Yorktown 39 has to be the most meticulously put together vessel of its kind, representing the best in quality of customized design, hardware and workmanship. Purchased in 2006 by her present owners after their friend and original owner, a master German craftsman and mechanical engineer, had been working and improving the boat in his backyard for decades, they knew her value and seaworthiness when she was finally launched, virtually new, in 2007. Note the 70 hp diesel (only 277 hours) and double of nearly everything important, such as refrigerator systems, autopilot systems, water heaters, engine alternators, windlasses, etc. Hauled and bottom painted 2010 with no problems reported. All drawings, manuals and outline schematics go with the boat, invaluable to the blue water cruiser, not to mention a huge number of spare parts, too many to list. “Seeadler” shows well and can be seen by appointment in Moss Landing.
