General Details
(LOCATION: Miami FL) The Bertram 31 Bahia Mar is a classic deep-V fishing boat that is large enough for comfort and small enough for legendary maneuvering. This Ray Hunt design features a low profile with low center of gravity for exceptional stability and amazing fish-ability. Built in 1969 and refitted in 1997 this beauty retains all her original qualities with updated features.
This express features a tuna tower equipped with upper station, helm seat, canvas top, and sensational sight lines. Fishing equipment includes a set of rocket launchers and a pair of Rupp double-spreader outriggers. Below we have a large, 147 square foot, cockpit with Pompanette teak 4-rod rocket launcher, cushioned engine boxes, three in-deck fish boxes, and 50-gallon transom livewell/fishbox. The enclosed helm has hard top, vented windshield, side windows, and twin ladder-back helm seats with cushions and footrests. There's more than enough room to fish, relax, or celebrate a good day of fishing.
The cabin is designed for two, with a forward v-berth with under-berth head. Port side we have a fiberglass cabinet with sink and storage. There’s additional storage to starboard. A Marine Aire HVAC system maintains interior comfort dockside. There’s a Kenwood stereo with cabin and cockpit speakers.
Powered by twin 170-hp Yanmar diesel engines, Sea Horse is ready to provide years of dependable, economical, service. During her 1997 refit all the wood was replaced with fiberglass composite components for durability. Designed for fishing, this beauty is equally at home cruising or serving as a dive-boat. She has maintained her classic good looks and will continue to look good and run well for years to come. Call now and schedule a showing of this exceptional Bertram 31 Bahia Mar.
